Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel, Anaheim

Suppose to attend a Seminar there and tried to call to find out rates. Had to call many times. Nobody at Hotel can quote a reservation. Was transfered to the reservation line and found out they cannot quote group rates. Was transfered to group department 1st time phone went dead, 2nd time stayed on hold a long time, phone finally started ringing and then rang and rang and rang, no-one ever picked up. Finally got thru to them only to find out they are way too expensive even at the group rate. Don't they know there's an economic depression?

My family won a trip on a radio station for 3 days and 2 nights and decided to extend our visit and obviously paid for the extra time ourselves. I can't possibly say enough about how nice the staff was. Everything was coordinated just as expected and planned. From the time we arrived to the hotel we were greeted and notified of all the available options to us. We notified the manager that we were celebrating our son's 5th birthday he was given a bouquet of ballons. Later that night when we came back to our room after a long day at the park we noticed there was a birthday banner on our door and more ballons. My son couldn't have been happier. We arranged a breakfast with there at the hotel and my son had an amazing time. The rooms were clean, the location was great and the service was amazing. We had already checked out and decided to go to the park for a few hours before having to be picked up to be taken to the airport. Unfortunately our son had a potty accident (not enough bathroom breaks on our end). We went back to the hotel where they were holding our luggage and we spoke to the manager asking if we could possibly borrow a bathroom with a shower. He was extremely generous enough to contact maid and arranged for us to go to a clean room and use it to give him a shower and change him. We were supplied with extra towels and extra soap. This was our first time visiting a disney park and hotel and our experience was beyond words. We hope that we can return sometime soon.

Stayed for 4 nights. Bathroom fan was broken. Called to have it fixed on first day. Was promised it would be done. Fan was not fixed. On check out, asked if we could at least be comped for 3 days of parking ($45.00). Thought this more than reasonable for $2000 vacation package. Was told we would only be comped for 1 day of parking ($15.00). Didn't realized Disney was so cheap. Poor customer sevice. Not coming back.

We LOVED this hotel and I can't say enough good things about the wonderful staff here!!! My 8 year old daughter got VERY sick for 2 of the 3 1/2 days we were there and the staff bent over backwards trying to help her still have a semi-enjoyable trip. We will be back in December and there was never any question about where we would stay. My 8 year old said, "I want to stay where we did before. The workers were all so nice to me." The views of California Adventure are incredible!!!

This hotel was amazing, the staff were all so friendly and helpful. The room was fabulous and the beds soooo comfy. We had a park view room and the view of the California Adventure park was spectacular! We could see theWorld Of Colour show every night. It's in a great location, only a 3 minute walk to Downtown Disney. My son loved the pool area and the character buffet breakfast can't be missed. The only con was the water pressure and temperature of the shower wasn't the best but that's neither here or there. Highly recommend this hotel!

My family and I stayed here the first week of October in a concierge cabana room. It was in a great location. We were right next to the elevators and we could just walk out to the pool from our room. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were lumpy. Our bathroom wasn't as clean as I would have expected and we had some weird flies in our room. We had breakfast every morning in the concierge lounge before heading to the parks and had dinner a few times there to save money. They didn't have a huge selection of food but it was enough to satisfy us. The cast members in the lounge were always friendly and helpful. The elevators were an issue during the busier times of the day. I would have preferred to take the stairs... if they had any accessible. It was a 10-15 minute walk to California Adventure (though the Grand Californian Hotel) or Disneyland (though downtown Disney). Overall, we had a pleasant experience with the hotel. We would probably stay there again.

Sounds silly, I know. However, my family (my wife, 4 year old boy, 2 year old boy, and 8 month old boy) and I found that it was a real challenge using the elevators. The elevators are slow, small, and few in numbers. We traveled with a double wide stroller and a single stroller, however, we could only fit one stroller on at a time. If that was not bad enough, on Oct 20 at approx 8:30pm or 9:00pm, we walked into the hotel lobby after a long day at the parks to find that the LINE for the ELEVATOR almost went as far back as the front door. It took us almost 20 minutes to get onto the elevator. When I finally got back to our room, I called the front desk to see if this was a common problem. They said they were unaware of any problems with the broken elevator or other performance issues with the remaining elevators.

The staff was amazing. The food was fantastic! The rooms were very clean, nice, and had a great view of California Adventure!! The beds were very comfortable and I fell asleep fast and I had a great nights sleep! The hotel was fantastic, they have a wonderful pool and a huge slide! A nice and relaxing hot tub!! Basically, the pool area is very relaxing! The location couldn't have been better, and it was just a short walk to Downtown Disney and before you knew it..... you were in the park! The value was wonderful!! The Paradise Pier Hotel couldn't have been better!!!!! The elevators were a little slow, but besides that everything was great! I had the time of my life in the hotel and in the park. They had the best restaurants in Downtown Disney..... I loved the food there! It was worth the money and everything was very very pretty!! I can't wait to go back to Paradise Pier Hotel! And most importantly........ DISNEYLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Staff was amazing, very helpful and pleasant to talk to. Rooms were nice and the location couldn't have been better, just a short walk through Downtown Disney and we were at the park. Houskeeping was pretty good - the only thing I would recommend to them is to wash the comforter weekly (I brought my own can of Lysol to spray on everything, I do this everytime I travel). The elevators are a little slow, especially at check out time but other than that everything was great! We will definately be back on our next visit to Disneyland

They were so nice there! Everything was so clean and pretty. The pool was amazing, with a slide. Bring your own bev, they have a small fridge. Character Breakfast was worth it if you can swing it, very healthy, yummy choices for the $!
