Terrible Night Sleep
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/31/09
I must say.. I LOVED the customer service. They were very accomodating.. However, if you're looking for a good night sleep.. you can forget it...the beds are terrible, the sheets feel cheap, the pillows are old, the blankets are the worst.. definity not an experience I was looking foward to at the Embassy.. and the room SMELLED BAD.. unbearable~ I felt like I was at a "Motel 6"

Wasting Natural Resources
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/27/06
1st room - heat did not work. the engineer was on his way, but it was too cold to wait. 2nd room - musty smelling, rock hard bed and old lumpy pillows. If you plan on showering at 5:00 am, make sure you let the water run for 15 minutes, this is what they told be upon check out. They informed me that the engineer to fix this problem would not be there until 7. So glad I had to fly to the east coast and attend a meeting with no shower. very classy. FYI a shower is only worth 20% of the total room cost according to the front desk. Also, don't mind the fire alarm beeps at 1:30 am. If you can sense my sarcasm, in any of this, you will understand that I truly had a miserable experience. I work for a very large networking company who frequents this hotel and I would not tell anyone to stay here!

would not stay at this hotel again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/18/06
One problem that I had, and other guests as well, is the credit card style door key did not work consistantly. Had to have my door key redone. There was no heat in the rooms. It was set by the out side temp. I have to wear my husband sweat shirt and socks to beds. The hotel was very noisey. The lobby was so cold by the time I got to the table with by breakfast it was ice cold. When I when to take my bath in the morning there was no hot water. I called and told the front desk. They told me the system had gone out and would be up in 20 mintues. When we left an hour later there was still no hot water. I will not return to this hotel.

Great Hotel
By MikeB, 07/30/05
Very clean and relaxing. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. One problem that I had, and other guests as well, is the credit card style door key did not work consistantly. Had to get keys 'remade' several times. A small nuisance. The layout of the elevators could have been better. There were 2 elevators closest to the lobby that had the most traffic and 3 on the opposite side of the hotel. Would have been better to have 3 up front by the lobby. Also one of the two elevators by the lobby broke down. Fortunately I was just on the second floor and didn't mind taking the stairs. Too late to change design now. Still a very good trip. I would go back again.

Very comfortable place to stay while away from home
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/21/04
Room was spacious and convenient, good service, adequate parkings. Definitely will stay there again on the next visit to Orange County.
