The hotel itself was well OK
By Mayhap, 09/05/08
But the peoplw who run it are not so great. I made a reservation on the hojo website a week prior to my trip. no problem, gave cc'd and reserved a late night check in. I get there and they said I had called and caceled the room. umm ok, I did but I just decided to show? The only rooms they then had left were more expensive rooms, and they would not honor my cheeper room reservation. This is such a scam. I complained to hojo.com and the redlands hotel called me and said they canceled it because my card was declined when they ran it for latecheck in. funny it worked a few hours later when i took the other room just fine. I wish they would get their stories strait. Very poor attitude of the managment. the late night checker seemed nice, but who knows if he was the one who canceled it or not. I really dont recommend this place if you are looking for a cheep room, you'll have to take the more expensive room.

Good to stay at with a tight bugdet
By Aaron, 06/01/07
This hotel was keep pretty clean. The housekeeping staff changed the bedsheets daily along with everything. The place was nice and quite during the night without the normal traffic that you would expect at a budget hotel. The only complaint that I had with the room was the a/c unit did not work all that well. Other then that the stay was good and the hotel was close to every thing you need. With easy accs to the highways.

Worst hotel ever!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/12/06
They didn't have my reservation when I arrived. Fortunately they had an available room so I wasn't left homeless on the street but I wouldn't have been given the AAA rate if I hadn't had my internet room guarantee printout with me. The place was a dump and I would never use or recommend that hotel again.

Ghetto under the interstate
By Patrick, 06/02/05
Location was easy to find and desk service was good. Room was large but had several drawbacks. First the hotel is litterally under the I-10. The parking lot is small, poorly lit and difficult to get in and out. The deadbolt lock on my room wouldn't engage and the chain on the door looked like it had been torn off at least once. I wedged the chair against the door for security. The floor in the bathroom was hot. Not warm but "burn your feet" hot. I don't know if it was susposed to be radiant heat that was out of control or if the hot water pipes ran under my unit or if volcanic magma was just under the surface but in addition to making the floor hot, it made the room hot and the A/C running on full couldn't cool the room. WiFi did work in the room. Bed was hard but pillows were some of the best I've had. Breakfast was below average. For $75 a night this was not a good experience. I'm just glad I didn't have my family with me.
