BISCUITS AND GRAVY BABY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By dv, 5/25/11
This place is great, Sure it's a little "DATED" and sunburned but the wife and I really like it as a middle of nowhere getaway. We get the suite when we go as it has a full kitchen including: refrigerator, oven, microwave, plates, utensils etc.. In the living room It has a fold out couch and tables, a computer desk,Sony big screen tv with cable and DVD player and air conditioner. In the private bedroom there is a hot tub ,air conditioner,Tv,and a comfortable bed. Free internet access and dvd movies for your enjoyment. Breakfast was good it had make your own waffles, hardboiled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, muffins, bagels, fruit, coffee and juice. The biscuits and gravy were really tasty and the wife liked eating outside on the patio with nice tables and a fountain. TIPS: There is a 24 hour pool and hot tub with BBQ grills to get your grub on. Bring your own blender for margaritas! There is a train that runs thru the day and night,I'm a very light sleeper and it really didn't bother me. A lot of stores and markets around the area on our gps navigation system were closed or no longer there. There are still a lot of places to shop and eat but just be cautious.

Friendly Staff
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/23/08
Staff is very accommodating and the rooms are clean though slightly dated (no pun intended). Location is a bit tough to get in and out of but all in all a great value.

A good motor hotel
By thomash, 5/5/07
Whether just passing through or staying a few days this hotel is a good choice with a helpful staff. The rooms were clean and the atmosphere was "desert" relaxed.

Top notch staff and amenities
By BarbiQ62, 2/21/06
The staff was absolutely first class. When we checked in, Jacob was at the front desk. He was sincerely friendly and positive, and made us feel welcome and appreciated from the moment we walked in. My favorite amenities: Pet-friendly rooms available and large well-kept grassy areas close to every door. Wireless high speed internet access, DVD player in every room, free DVD rentals, very good selection of films to choose from. Blow-dryer, coffee maker and Microwave in room. A big plus was the very large fridge in room. Complimentary dates, fresh-baked cookies and iced lemon water in the lobby. Decent breakfast, hot coffee avail all day. Next to the indoor breakfast area there is a nice outdoor patio with tables with a soothing fountain you can enjoy as well. Huge clean swimming pool and jacuzzi available 24 hours. Our room was completely refurbished, everything was brand new, new carpet, new appliances, new bathroom fixtures, nothing was old or worn looking in our room. Computer in the lobby for guests to surf the internet. Early check in at 3 PM (and they will let you check in earlier if rooms are ready) and LATE checkout at Noon.. Very friendly and accommodating staff, the best I have seen in years of traveling. This hotel gets my highest rating because of the top notch staff and amenities!

Website pictures were taken somewhere else
By My two cents, 7/11/05
We stayed here one night for 2004 tamale festival and will never stay again. As the title says, the web site shows a great looking place to stay but as you drive up it looks like the pictures were taken some where else. As I was picking up the keys many people tried to cancel. I would have done the same but I didn't want to get charged a cancellation charge. The room itself is nice but everything else is something I will not return for.

No Fan
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/13/04
I must admit that our family started thinking of ways to get out of staying the night. From curb side, the right side of the property is not appealing. Two seperate times I overheard couples, asking if they would be billed for not staying there. Of course, all had lame excuses. Palm trees or bushes would be the solution to hide everything on the right of the property. Also, would someone please pick up the long white iron rod fence that is laying on the parking lot. It looks very messy just laying there. Front office staff were great but we were surprised with loud house keepers. Must have been break time in front of our room. Most of all, I am forced to rate our experiance a 1 for poor bathroom planning. There is no way for the bathroom air to circulate. Better bring sometype of air freshner to combat the smell if you go number two. The shower heading settings do not work properly. Their marketing people really did a good job. Other then that, I loved the carpet and the comfortable beds. This place was choosen becuase it is down the street from the tamale festival but I am afraid that conveinance is now not so important. This hotel management needs to do something quickly about fixing these problems.

Good for money
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/12/04
Nice contintental breakfast. Hard-boiled eggs, oatmeal, cereal, muffins, bagels, bread, oj, coffee. Enough to get you going. Rooms were ok too, but not fancy. No views to speak of. Good economy place.
