Serene and romantic!

This place is very charming! It is not within walking distance to downtown, but for us, it was what we preferred. This unique "hotel" is nestled in the trees...each unit is like a little mini cabin...the entire complex is one-story. There are not more than 30 rooms in the whole complex, I don't think. It looked like some of the rooms were stand-alone, while the ones that were connected to another unit (like ours) were only connected on one side (like a duplex).
The rooms were small, probably 3/4 the size of a normal hotel room, so they were compact but cozy. The bathroom in our unit was very small and perhaps a bit dated, and the tiny closet was situated in such a way that it was extremely difficult for it to be useful.
The fireplace doubled as the heating unit for the room. It was cozy and put out a lot of heat, but once the room was at the thermostat temporature, the fireplace would shut off...until the room cooled down again.
The room had a small refridgerator, microwave, coffee maker, iron and blow dryer...none of which we used.
We would most definitely stay here again. It was extremely quiet and serene - it was out of the congestion of the major shopping area...the cost per night was fantastic (and there was no 2-night minimum when we stayed, either!) A great, romantic place to stay!
