Too Expensive
By Kena, 08/30/09
This hotel will charge for everything. I have never seen anything like this before - where they charge for gym, regular TV, etc. However, be sure to bring extra bucks because there are no benefits other than a clean room and nice building. I would not recommend it as check in can be quiet a hassle. Don't even order room service- extra charges.

Great Hotel
By John, 07/14/09
The room was spotless and housekeeping made sure it stayed that way. All the personnel in the staff including security, housekeeping, room service and fornt desk people are extremely pleasant. They always greet you in a cheerful manner and make it clear they want to help you. I lost my phone charger and when I asked where there was a store to buy a new one, they checked lost and found and found one I could use. Food was excellent and the location is ideal. You can walk to Disneyland but keep in mind the "ART buses" stop right in front of the hotel. Very inexpensive and great on warm days or if you have things to carry. I would be happy to recommend this hotel to friends and family. From what I observed it is one of the better hotels in the area. You get what you pay for and I feel I got my money's worth and more.

Beds are great!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/08/09
This was a very nice hotel. And I thought i had got an awesome deal for staying at a Hilton Hotel. But you have to pay for EVERYTHING. I couldnt even watch regular television. That's extra. There was no little refrigirater in the room or anything. But the beds are so comfortable! I would rather get a lower class hotel with everything free instead of paying extra for everything. Sorry.

Great hotel...especially for Conventions
By ED, 03/27/09
This hotel lives up the Hilton name. Very nice rooms, very spacous. Connected to Anaheim Convention Center and literally is a 3 minute walk from one to another. Lobby is HUGE.. great hotel bar and both restaurants- Mix and Sushi Palace were very good. Walking distance to Disney and Anaheim Garden Walk. Plenty of nice attractions nearby. I would definately recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel, but most amenities COST EXTRA!
By Daria, 10/29/08
I have stayed in a number of hotels and was least impressed with the value of this one. Although the room itself was fairly nice most amenities cost extra (which I could not find posted anywhere on the website)! Even the fitness room came with a fee. We thought we had landed a pretty good deal. However, when you start adding up the charges that wouldn't have existed at other hotels, the Hilton Anaheim is greatly overpriced for what they offer. We were a group of seven. Just the fact that there was no continental breakfast, that would have been offered by other local hotels free of charge, really impacted the cost of the trip. Parking was extra too. Instead, consider the Holiday Inn Express Anaheim Maingate. That's where I wish we had stayed. Internet and Breakfast is included there and they are closer to the main gate. Another oddity of the Hilton, they didn't have locks on the bathroom doors.

STAY AWAY!
By cg17, 08/16/08
This hotel is being renovated...what that means is that there will be construction surrounding your room 24 hours a day...drilling, jackhammering, moving furniture...so loud that you can't think straight! If you call to complain, the absolutely imbecilic management clearly doesn't care. We barely slept the whole time we were there...and this was supposed to be a restful vacation! (I'm also giving no points for cleanliness because after waiting THREE HOURS for our room to be ready on the day we checked in, when we got upstairs it still hadn't been made up and we had to wait another hour for the maids to come.) Definitely not worth the money.

Do not stay at Anaheim Hilton
By Sharon, 08/05/08
I stayed there on 28 and 29 July 2008. At around 11:50 pm, 29 July, my family, some groupmates and I came back to the hotel after a whole day's activity in Disneyland, under the hot sun and after the last laser show at 10:30 pm. On the desk in my room, there was a letter from the hotel saying that water supply would be suspended from 12:00 mid-night to 5 am. We would like very much to have a shower before going to bed. We have to leave for Las Vegas at 8 am (8 hours later). I called a number as advised by the letter. No one answered. I rushed to the lobby twice. At the second attempt I managed to see the front desk manager Mr Ronald Amie and tell him all we want was a shower. However, the response was no help available on this. At least 12 members of my tour group had the same miserable experience. Why couldn't we have been informed one day earlier ? Why couldn't some shower rooms be reserved for guests ? What hospitality is this ? MaggiehongKong

Nice Hotel
By Kelly, 07/23/08
The Hilton was clean and well staffed. I was there with my family for a convention. It was walking distance to the convention center and Disneyland. The weather is beautiful and we never got a drop of rain. The cons are that the hotel is not kid friendly and the pool is extremely small for a large hotel. There was also a large amount of renovations going on.

Completely ridiculous!!!!!
By Rebecca, 07/07/08
This hotel has a UPS store which has absolute morons working for it. The Hilton sucks because they allow this UPS to remain in their hotel. First, you have to pay a fee at the store in order to pick up packages delivered to you there. Forget the fact that you have ALREADY paid UPS for the package to be sent. I could see if you sent a Fedex package or some other and you had to pay in order to pick it up from the UPS store. Second, they couldn't find a package that we had sent there and lied saying that it was sent to another hotel. Okay, so the other hotel has someone with the same name signing for packages? I tracked the package and it was delivered to the correct place with the same signature that was signed for our other packages. Third, after paying the pick-up fee. It was also charged to the room fee. The Hilton would not take it off because they said the UPS store had to do that. What???? It's your freaking hotel!!!!! It was the last day, the line for the UPS store was extremely long, and I had to catch a plane. So, I had to eat it. I will NEVER stay at any Hilton ever again!!!!!

We can't wait to go back!
By 2keepntouch, 05/07/08
Great Hotel for our family, each stays has been a very pleasant one, always received exceptional service, affordable price and very convenient location. We love that it is very close to Disneyland Park, and that the hotel actually provides free shuttle to and from Disneyland!
