Motel 6 Jacksonville, Jacksonville

When you walk into the lobby of this hotel it looks like it's a very clean and upkept hotel. WRONG! The rooms were disgusting. The carpets were stained as was the chair that sits in your room. The bathroom was just as disgusting. We stayed in the Jacksonville Inn for 4 nights and only saw maid service on the day we arrived and the day we left. When trying to call the front desk for some clean towels (because we hadn't seen the maid service in two days) they told us that we would have to wait for the maid service to come around for them. The banquet hall that was rented for the evening was horrible. The lights were out in the bathrooms all night long because they "couldn't" reset the fuse in the fuse box. The air conditioning either quit working or was on the fritz, because it was 85 degrees in there. Just way too many things to list that went wrong at this place. Save your money and go down the street to a different hotel. Although we didn't have time to go swimming, they did have a pretty inground pool in the back that looked like it was pretty nice (from a distance). Honestly, I can't rate the pool's cleanliness because I wasn't close enough to see inside of it.
