We won't Go back to this Hotel !!!!!
By Do the Dew, 11/30/09
We had three rooms booked in this Hotel, we flew in early and we called and arranged an early check in, when we arrived, our rooms were not ready, but at 1:00 p.m. we were offered, that for more money we could upgrade our rooms and get into a room, we flew in at 7:00 a.m.. This hotel advertised that they have two golf courses here, which is why we stayed. The golf course is across the lake and is not part of the hotel, and they offer a discount, however, we were able to get reservations online for less than the discount. There are fees for everything at this hotel. SAVE your money... every hotel on Scottsdale road looked as nice as this one, can't say for the other hotels, but we did not see what we would consider a bad place. None of the hotels are connected to the golf courses though, if golf is your thing, make sure you play the TPC (both courses) and use Golfnow.com. We will definitely go back to Scottsdale, loved it, but we won't stay at this place, no way!!!! There is a resort fee of 10.00 per day above the room fees, which are way higher than any other hotel in the area...beware of the big scam!!!!

Great place to vacation
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/17/09
I stayed there on the meal plan--for $139/night I could bill up to $100 a day in food. How can you beat that? And the food was fantastic. The resort is older and not as modern as others in town, but it was very quiet and convenient. Their grilled salmon was the best I've had anywhere, and their breakfasts are out of this world..the lemon souffle pancakes and the orange cranberry walnut french toast was worth waking up for. I would definately stay here again.

just 'ok'
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/27/07
The grounds were beautiful, the staff was friendly, but the rooms are definitely in need of some love. The bathroom fixtures are very old, the carpeting and decor could use an upgrade. The rooms definitely do not have a 'resort' feel to them at all.

Not what we expected!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/17/06
The online room description doesn't accurately portray what you get. We were looking for incredible views from our room... eventually got them, but after walking around a blocking wall. There were no bath robes included, the bathroom faucet wouldn't turn off and the wallpaper was cracked and peeling off the walls. Not exactly the "resort" room we were expecting. The location and value of this resort is the best part, but we won't stay here again.

WE CAN'T WAIT FOR OUR NEXT STAY
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/23/05
WE LIKED THE SERVICE. YOU DID NOT HAVE TO ASK FOR ANYTHING IT WAS RIGHT THERE FOR YOU. ROOMS WERE VERY NICE AND CLEAN. ALSO NICE AND QUIET. BATHROOMS NOT IN YOUR ROOM BUT IN THE MAIN LOBBY WERE UNREAL. THEY WERE SO COMFORTABLE AND CLEAN. THE POOL WAS EXCEPTIONAL. TOWELS ALWAYS THERE WITH COLD WATER. THEY CAME AROUND WITH FRUIT

Never again!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/05/05
This hotel is set on beautiful grounds. Upon getting there the room that we confirmed (w/a king size bed) was not available. Nothing was offered to compensate and there was no concern upon the front desk clerk that we did not get what was confirmed. Tennis courts are very cracked and old. Two of the three courts were not usable. We went to the front desk to ask for suggestions on a particular type of restaurant. The clerk said that there was someone in the back that knew more and she would have him come out. He did not come out but gave her information resulting in us waiting and the information given was basic.

Find somewhere else!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/14/04
The walls are paper-thin! I asked if there was another room available and was told I would be called right back--they never did. The breakfast "buffet" was (literally) four items more than a continental breakfast and the food was cold and/or greasy. The view of the lake from the room was beautiful, but not enough to compensate for awful food and poor service.

Millennium McCormick
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/01/04
The hotel is located in a beautiful setting on a lake but the my reservations for a lake unit was not available upon arrival after being confirmed. Upgrade to 3 bedroom condo was not satisfactory nor was the unit up to this type of hotel standard. The resturant is a 4-5 star, great food and setting overlooking the lake. Pricing for the condo units did meet expectations.
