River Valley Suites, Bullhead City

Tidy rooms. Responsive management. Terrific location. Highly recommended.. .They put out little breaksfasts in the morning. Also had a laundry room. A perfect place to stay when you need a little more than a hotel, but less than an apartment.

Was told they had room. Was showed the room. It appeared as though it was clean and waiting to be rented. It was friday afternoon. I told the young male clerk "o.k., i'll take that room for a month.", and started to pull out my wallet. All of a sudden the clerk starts tapping the keys on the keyboard, then says uncaringly "the earliest it would be available is on Monday evening, it has to be cleaned." "I'll clean it myself, that's o.k.", I tell him. He says he can't do that.I tell him "I'll have to sleep in my car in 90 degree heat for two nights if I don't get that room". "I can't do it, sorry." ????

This extended stay motel has been gradually upgraded during the past year. A volleyball court has just been completed and there is a 1/4 mile walking track on the 5 acres of land on the property. For $700 a month, all utilities, HBO, kitchenette suites and free local calling, that's not a bad deal.
