never want to go back
By anita, 03/01/09
Scary! The staff was friendly, but that didn't make me want to stay. There is no elevator, the rooms were disgustingly dirty. The glass door didn't have a lock, the bed had stains on it. Yeck Gross. I saw the room and checked out. The old saying is true, you get what you pay for. In this incident we could have paid $10 bucks and still not be happy with the room. It is also located in a horrible part of town. I read a review and thought the person was having a bad day.........not so......Don't waste your time staying here. We ended up paying 3 x the money for a room, but it was well worth it.

Good Deal
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/23/07
I stayed here last week for 3 nights and it was a good deal. Clean, Starbucks right across the street and right on the freeway. The girls at the front desk helped me to find a nice restaurant for my clients. Internet was good and they helped me on the phone when I needed my configuration changed. Thanks

Avoid at all expense
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/28/06
I'd call it a rats nest but I don't want to be sued for libel by the rats. Old, smelly and, although mostly nice employees, pretty incompetent. The lobby was filled every evening with young children which I suspect were the offsprings of the employees. Its nearly impossible to make a left turn on Thomas to go downtown, or to enter the freeway which necessitates a right turn and a 5-minute drive west before the ability to make a U-Turn and drive east again. Specifically, during check-in a very stressed blonde without estrogen didn't have the time or energy to talk to customers. However, she did have plenty of time to talk to other employees -- while ignoring the sign-ins -- and when finally confronted heaved a sigh and asked "well, WHAT?" If I hadn't been swindled by Expedia this lad would have turned around and drove to the nearest homeless shelter which robably cleaner and staffed by nicer people. As far as the continental brunch even the rats didn't que up.

I will not stay there again
By , 03/09/06
The hotel has no adequate security. It is more of motel than hotel. Continental breakfast was terrible. Stale looking room, stale looking food.

Unsafe neighborhood?
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/23/05
This hotel was located a short drive to the airport (although you have to drive across downtown Phoenix to get there -- maybe not a good thing during rush hour). The neighborhood was a little scary. I felt an adrenaline rush when I had to run out to the car to get something. It seems obvious the owners have not put any money into upkeep for a while -- dingy carpets, old bedding. We were real glad we were spending only one night and getting up early to catch our flight. I would definitely not stay here again. Bleck.
