Car was STOLEN
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/19/10
Our truck was STOLEN in the parking lot! No Security Camaras! Cops arrive and tell us vehicles are stolen there everyday! Manager disagrees so then the cops say " okay, every other day". It is a gateway hotel right off I17 for the theifs to steal your vehicle and be out of town in 45 minutes. Didn't know that till it happened to us Saturday morning between 9am and 9:45 am right after the walking around security guard gets off work from his only 9pm - 9am shift. One security guard no camaras! Management still charged us for our rooms and the second night we weren't planning on staying we were forced to stay because we had no vehicle- they charged us for too!

This hotel is the worst. Very poor management
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/24/09
This place sucks. The management is extremely unprofessional, lacks common courtesy, and pretty much ignores your request. IT may look nice, but if you need an answer or at least acknowledgment of a problem or issue, they don't reply or give you a blow off response. I WOULD NOT recommend this location.

Excellent Hotel
By jm, 04/23/08
I had just cancelled my stay at the crowne plaza on E.Washington Street in Phoenix (refer to review on crowne plaza E.Washington location). I called the crowne plaza on Peoria and they quickly accomodated me for the entire weekend at a lower rate. I was pleased to see the hotel was situated near restaurants, malls, and quick access to the freeway. I entered the hotel and noticed it was a very bright, clean, updated with an impressive lobby. there was plenty of ample parking. The staff was professional and courteous. The rooms were clean, updated boasting a very comfortable bed. the hotel offered a great gym, and indoor and outdoor swimming pool! food was very tasty. I had a wonderful stay at this location and will definetly stay again.

Great Value!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/02/08
This hotel was absolutely great. The room and bathroom were clean and newly remodeled. It's not 'elegant', but very comfortable and welcoming. We stayed for an entire week while job hunting and made multiple demands on the staff, all of which were met promptly and professionally. The indoor and outdoor pools and jacuzzis were clean and inviting. The chlorine smell from the indoor poor was noticable in the hallways, but not overwhelming. The hotel is in a safe neighborhood, within a 5 minute drive of a mall and lots of food options. Try Fajitas, Akaihana's (formally Mr. Sushi), and Pizza By Napoli‎ for good food in the $5-12/plate range. We would have rated this hotel 4/5 for value except that the rooms lack a mini-fridge and microwave. Also, the internet in the room is cabled (4 ports) instead of wireless as in the lobby, but the front desk will provide ethernet cables. Regardless, we would strongly recommend this hotel to friends.

Service was inconsistent.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/03/08
Front desk was non-responsive to requests - so service in that area was poor. Personnel somewhat annoyed at the front desk. However, hotel picked us up at the airport and drove us back prompty upon request; so, that service was excellent. The location was great and the room was good. We had a great time in Phoenix!

Bad Service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/22/06
1.I had booked in advance for a non smoking king size bed;when I check in I see that its a twin bedroom. I just ignore it thinking it might be an oversight. 2.I order for breakfast the next morning asking for their continental breakfast specifying fruit bowl instead of juice and I get both and get charged for both. 3.The next morning I order for same breakfast only this time I get charged 5 dollars more. 4.The worst of all - I go to the front desk asking for laundry supply and they say that I need to pick it up from the vending machine. I go back to the 2nd floor only to find that they dont have any in their machine. Earlier that day I asked for conditioner and I get a reply' pick it up from the convenience store right across the street'.I hang up. Now I call again saying that there is no laundry supply and to my amazement I get the same reply. I lost it. If they dont have supply of conditioner its understandable. Don't they have any laundry supply? So how do they wash the hotel linen etc? May be its their policy not to give their own to guests. That accepted. But if they dont provide customer service in any form then I think its not a very good place.I asked the same question to the customer service person. She finally obliged by giving her own laundry supply. Oversight and impoliteness once can be ignored. But if it repeats then there is a problem.

Wow
By Marinda, 10/10/05
This hotel is definitely one that I will stay at again. The room was spacious, luxurious, and clean. Never stayed at a hotel where I was giving earplugs, eye mask and a CD to help me relax and sleep better.

Try this Hotel..........
By RandyN, 10/01/05
Overall this was one of the nicest hotels I have EVER stayed at. The Rooms were neat and clean, the staff was very friendly, the sports bar was nice and open (two Free drinks each night.), the two Pools were great and the breakfast bar (included) was good. If booked online the weekend rate was $69.00. This is a great value for what you can get at this Crowne Plaza Hotel.
