Nice hotel!!!

I gotta say this hotel really was great! P.S. if you use SweetHotelDeals. Net for booking this hotel they usually have some pretty good hotel deals at this time of the year!

this place is a joke
the location sucked, the place looks clean but has bed bugs. i came home and realized i was bit up everywhere, both myself and my kids. i wondered what could it be until i figured it had to have been bed bugs. the service was not the best, and the resturant consist of what is shown in the picture a bar. the pool looks 5x better in the picture. the roof pool is a joke. i booked a cabana suite and when i got there they gave me a standard room.

Care about customer service? don't stay here!
By ,
I booked and paid for a cabana suite and they gave us a regular room. I booked the suite because I was having surgery at the nearby hospital. That would give me a private room, so my family didn't have to be quiet when I got out. When my husband came to get me out of the hospital, he told me about being placed in a regular room. When we got to the front desk, and I explained that I had paid for a suite and why, all the manager said was sorry and that we'd have to wait another 2 hours or so before our correct room was ready. He could see the fresh scar on my neck and the ice bag that I was holding! I told him, AGAIN, that I had just checked out of the hospital and could not believe that that was the best answer he could give. He then told me that we could go back to the wrong room and wait until the booked room was ready. He said I would have to take up the price difference with who I had booked through and he offered NOTHING for our inconvenience and their mistake (he could see that I booked a suite in their computer)! I asked if he had ever been sent to customer service classes as he had offered nothing to a lady who was just totally inconvenienced after just getting out of the hospital. I told him the least he should have done was offered us a free meal or something for this terrible inconvenience and he just stood there. I told him a free meal was far less than the reviews I would be putting on all of the websites. Customer service is totally missing from this hotel!!! Their idea for making up for the inconvenience as bringing us up a luggage cart! It's terrible that one person (the manager!) can ruin your whole stay.

Exceeded in guest service!
By ,
My family & I stayed at this hotel, July 11-12,2010. It was a little hard to find since it was right behind another hotel so it looked like they merged together. There was no big sign letting us know it was the Radisson, but we found it. They gave us a room on the 5th floor, a suite which is not the safest if you have kids. The room smelled the floors looked a bit old & dirty but the room itself was okay.We switched rooms one on the ground floor, and that room smelled a little bit better than the first, but both rooms had a foot like odor to them. our 2nd room had two beds better than our first which had one bed & a pull out couch bed, which says accomodates 5, I dont see how! but our 2nd room was much better. The service was great, My 5 year old daughter lost her balance as she was getting in the pool by the ladder slipped & fell in the pool, she hit her head on the cement, she lacerated her head. & although the hotel was unable to take us to the nearest Emergency Room due to the fact that they had no carseats, One of their employee's ( Tiffany ) took us to a hospital in her car & she was very helpful she ended up satying with me until my daughter was discharged. She was great. She went beyond great service, even though she was off th clock.Overall the stay was good but they exceeded in guest service.

Disappointed
By ,
The hotel itself is fine, the pool very nice. The rooms are adequate. However, we booked a room with two queen size beds and when given our rooom it only had a King bed. We went down to speak to customer service. Their excuse was: that they were completely booked. The travel place we used was a third party. We had to take what they had. We booked almost two months in advance.. Good thing there were only Two adults and child. My son will not have a bed! They were not apologetic nor did they offer any kind of rollaway bed or anything. It was an OH WELL Attitude!! Just to fill their rooms they will take reservations with any hotel service and give you what they want!!! I would suggest pay the extra fee and reserve rooms through them. Shame on them for taking reservations 3rd party and not honoring thier part!!

Great Phoenix Stay!
By ,
We had a great time at the Radisson. The backyard is amazing, pools with waterfalls, a volleyball court for the kids to play, a play area for little kids. The room was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. we will be returning very soon.

Good deal for the money....
By ,
... centrally located, basic amenities, nice enough staff, wireless internet worked well for me, very quiet. The interior was in need of updating, which didn't bother me. Can't beat the price.

Just don't plan your wedding here.
By ,
The screwed me over. They will screw you too! I had booked my ceremony 14 months in advance and they had the nerve to book another wedding right before mine. It ran late, thus causing mine to start late. I had also paid for a room.. check in was at 3 pm and it didn't get cleaned until almost 4pm. Plus, they promised my officiant a microphone for my ceremony with we never got. After my reception, our keys didn't work. At one oclock in the morning we had to make not one but TWO trips back down for them to fix our card keys. Then the fire alarm went off for about 20 minutes. The hotel manager/wedding coordinator was unapologetic and not qualified for her job. NEVER AGAIN. And I will continue to tell anyone who listens... take you business somewhere else. I never go so much as an apology!

Excellent rooms for good rates.
By ,
This hotel was an old-styled building, looks to be recently remodeled and very clean. Most appliances were brand new, and although the in-hotel restaraunts were closed, there was plenty nearby. The pool was excellent although not nearly heated adequately for late October, but overall, I'd go back.

pleasantly surprized
By ,
after reading all the negative reveiws, my husband and i almost canceled our reservations. we decided to go and expect the worst, to our surprize. the hotel was lovely, true they are renavating but for the price we paid, it was wonderful. The court yard, was breathtaking and the pool made you feel like you were on a tropical isle. they had towels out by the pool for your convenence. keep in mind we paid through cheap tickets 29.00 a night. for that price i have to give them and excellent rating. I was not expecting a 5 star hotel. We loved our stay and the staff was great. also security parking. great location.
