Loud Party, Dirty Pool, Poor Service
By Jonathan, 03/30/08
We just completed a 3 day stay at this property. The pool had garbage and dirty towels left out all day and night, the pool shack was closed, and the night supervisor was incapable of shutting down a loud party despite 4 phone call pleas. Very disappointing Starwood experience -- lots of other good hotels in Phoenix besides this one.

Misrepresented
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/20/08
My son and I needed to get away for one day, we live in the midwest and we had been experiencing the worst cold weather blasts. The day we left for our one day trip to Phoenix, the temperature was six degrees. We chose the hotel based on their online desciption, a 166 foot slide (for him), room service, and accessibility. This trip was a splurge and an complete disappointment. I called the hotel to get information on transpotation, they gave me two phone numbers of services that they use and recommend. The first one I called, the man told me he was babysitting his son and could not pick us up. Once we arrived at the hotel by taxi, he called my cell phone and said he was available. We ordered room service to our room only to find out that the menus we had were not the menus we were supposed to have had. The kitchen was under construction and the menu was limited to three entree items, of course not what we ordered. We checked in at 7pm and checked out at 6pm the following day. I just received a $600 bill and have now been on hold trying to call the hotel about this obvious mistake. What did I like about this place and why? Absolutley nothing, the service, the price, the ammenities all just remnants of what the Sheraton used to be. This particular Sheraton is operating on auto pilot using it's former reputation to be able to overcharge and not be held accountable for poor service and exborbinant rates. Save your money and time. P.S. I have now been on hold for 30 minutes, I don't see that I will be answered any time soon.

I will never forget our honeymoon!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/05/07
My husband and I stayed at the Sheraton for our honeymoon, we loved it so much we are going back for our 3yr anniversary. We loved the breakfast, the views from our balcony were stunning, oh! and the bed was heavenly. I didn't want to leave. Our honeymoon at the Sheraton was absolutely PERFECT.

4 Star Hotel ??
By Jim B, 04/01/07
I guess those cobwebs in the corner of our room must have been made from " Lace". And those stains on the ceiling and walls were "Fine Modern Art". This hotel looks like it hasnt been painted since it was built. Our "Non-smoking room" had cigarette burns on every stick of furniture! If this is a 4 star hotel the backseat of my car should get a 4 star rating, at least my car is clean!!!

horrible visit
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/26/07
My husband and I stayed there with our three boys and 5 minutes into our stay our 1 year old knock his on the night stand and requires medical assistance. The hotel sends a security guard to bring us a band aid and what looked like a q-tip. There was no first aid kit, no on call doctor, basically no help. Our son ended up needed stitches and the hotel really didn't try to accomodate our situation. We would never stay there again.

Cockroaches and Strippers
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/31/06
My colleague and I just returned from business in Phoenix. We picked the Sheraton Crescent because of location and the "club" level which provided ordeurves and attracted our needs. We specifically asked for a room away from the elevator and vending machines for we had just traveled the country on business and sound sleep was a priority. Sheraton did comply with initial requests. We were awakened in the middle of the night by a bachelor party in the suite next door. We called the front desk and they said they would send up security. It quieted down for about 15 minutes until the stripper came. We called front desk again. They did nothing. We had to listen all night long to profanities, slammings against our wall, and disturbing noise. The evening ordeurves were nothing but dried out pizza bagels from costco and cheese and saltines. Breakfasts were decent continental. The next evening my friend and I battled cockroaches coming out of the drain when we showered and washed in the sink. We killed 3 with our shoes and 1 escaped into bedroom. Beware of room #849! We complained to front desk after the first restless night. They assured us that they would compensate us in someway, either full comp. or big discount. We were only comp'd for party night, not cockroaches. Also hotel too close to freeway noise. Its pretty, otherwise.

Great Service! Great beds! Nice pool area!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/12/06
I use this hotel for business trips when I need to be north of Phoenix off the I-17. This hotel has a great location to the highway. I have had wonderful beds and rooms here. Also stayed on the club level, nice breakfast and great service. The rooms are comfortable with a nice duvet and very clean. Southwest decor and very comfortable. The workout room is nice... entertainment is built in to the equipment, very modern and new! I also really enjoy this property. There is also a 1/2 way decent mall across the highway, but there are tons of places to eat within 1-2 miles from here. (even a Fuddruckers walking distance - right across the street). The hotel has wireless in the lobby and wired in the rooms. Able to do work and relax here. Never a bad night stay here.

A nice place to stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/28/05
I stayed at this hotel last summer and found it to be a nice property. I was impressed with the swimming pool and fitness center. The location of the hotel isn't the greatest but the price is usually pretty reasonable.

hide out in the city.
By juan, 05/23/05
You would think that these Hotel will be packed, noise, unconfortable, and many other thing, bucause it's located rigth next to the freeway, and less than a mile from one of the big shoping centers in Phoenix, insted, It's private and harley any noise can be heard, lovely swiming pool and great food, average location but perfect weekend get away in the city, not far from home or anything, so we you need a break from, kids, work or just a romantic weekend, not far from home and affordable check these place out.
