Best Western, Fairbanks

First off let me say that I travel 90 percent of the time for my job and have stayed at many hotels. This is my second time visiting Fairbanks, and my first time staying at the Quality Inn here in Fairbanks and I am loving it. The first time I came up here I stayed for three weeks at a hotel downtown and felt almost like an outsider. This time I am staying for a total of seven weeks and even after the first day here at the Quality Inn I have felt very welcomed and now I even feel like I have made a few good friends here. The bar and restaurant in the hotel is a cozy place to grab a bite to eat or grab a few drinks, and include a nice rustic atmosphere. The managers and staff at the hotel have been great as well, and have accommodated to all of my needs. If you're going to stay in Fairbanks, plan on staying here more than a few nights, and want a cozy place to look forward to coming back to every night I recommend looking into this place. Since I have been traveling, this has been my most enjoyable trip, and I even plan on making another trip up here just to visit.

this hotel is a great value we stayed their may 18 got a room for 85 dollars and were very amazed how great the staff is also has a great feel to the place

I travel to Fairbanks quite frequently on business. I have stayed at some hotels and had keys thrown at me. I have also stayed here when it was a best western and had horrible experiences. The service is much improved then before and everything is updated wich is much more helpful. Not much of a location and when you don't know where the pull in spot is to the parking lot kinda difficult to find. Great for business travels when alone. Not for families. Walls are super thin. But overall a nice hotel and much better then before. They have gotten rid of most of the drunk patrons that would stay. I have been here 2 weeks and not one party in the hotel. Much better. I would recommend this hotel to most.

great staff central location this summer pick this hotel love the decor.the ice cream parlor was not open until may 15th other than that a wonderful hotel for the price i only paid 89 doolars

feels like a lodge much higher standard than any other quality in we ever stayed at love the atomsphere great value since you get a full service hotel for price of a limited

The three nights I stayed at this hotel was such a great experiance. It used to be a Best Western but management has changed it to a Quality Inn. The million dollar remodle that is taking place I'm sure will make this hotel ten times better then it already was. The employees are always on top of making sure the guests are taken care of. My room was very comfortable and I felt home away from home. The location is wonderful and just a few miles away from downtown.

this place look and feels like a new hotel it was a best western but the owners changed it ti quality in and totally guted this place a great bargin alaska hotels get crazy rates

The hallway was covered with dirty linen and food, the room was musty, the beds hard and the view of some run-down buildings not so pleasant. At $30/night, maybe, but its priced to compete with the "best" local hotels. How it got three stars from Yahoo (AAA?) I'll never know.

Old, rundown, overpriced, bad neighborhood. Only the lobby looked good. When breakfast items such as coffee, eggs, rolls juice ran out they were not replaced until someone complained, and only then if you knew the item was suppose to be there in the first place and asked specifically for that item. Front desk personnel were not very knowledgeable about their hotel.
