The BBB will be notified!
By Yoshii, 03/16/09
After reading several reviews on the hotel before checking out, we finally were victims to the shady customer service. In brief: - they almost double charged our family, and also didn't include the group rate that was promised (apparently communication didn't get through to the next day worker) - Roaches were crawling in the rooms and some reported in the hallways - The bathtubs/showers were not cleaned daily - The room reeked of stale cigarette smoke from previous visitors - Each floor had stained carpets in the hallways, which showed a lack in care and overall pride in the appearance. - Our stay had a prostitute knocking on all the doors, waking up customers in hopes for a "payout". There was no thank you or care of concerns for our stay and that has prompted the notion to contact the BBB South Alabama. There's simply no excuse for the behaviour of the front desk staff!

Well at least the room was clean~~~
By Lovelylady1207, 08/07/08
Well I have several list of complaints for the hotel starting with the Arabs that work the desk. First I got lost and asked the front desk clerk to help me find my way to the hotel and he wouldnt..he told me to go to mapquest. Then my 1st room tv didnt work so I thought they was being accommendating and put me in a bigger better room..but the microwave didnt work or some of the lights and there was a loud noise coming from the bathroom. So I complained and the front desk clerk insulted my intelligence by telling me that there was construction going on in the room next to me. There is noway that this could have happened because I didnt have a room next to me on either side. Then when I tried to explain to the manager on my checkout that my sleep was important. I was here on business he didnt seem to care and when i mentioned that i should be reimbursed for a least a nights stay he refused and said i was unaccommandating the next day and wouldnt move. So not only did I not get a good nights rest and a good weekend for dumb customer service and didnt get a refund or discount or anything else...but the hotel is clean and room service was excellent and it was nice and cool in the rooms...

Less than expected!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/02/08
Great location. I have stayed in Days Inns before & had great success, but there is always "One in every crowd"!!!! Had adjoinging rooms. One room clean execpt that it was a Non Smoking room & there was a full ash tray. Ball on latch was broken. The A/C worked great & froze you out. Sheets were clean and fresh. Other room sheets were clean and fresh, but the A/C did not work well, coffee & grounds still in the coffee pot. Bathtub was nasty w/hair & dirt still in it. Toilet seat had "stuff" on it. Sink had whiskers & dirt on it and around. Called Maintenance & they came up & cleaned & fixed the problems. It took 1 guy almost 1 1/2 hrs to get it all done (10:30 pm - 12 am). He did apologize several times and was very nice, but he should not have had to come up at that time of the night and do maintenance & house cleaning. When I went to ck out the next morning he went to the desk with me and backed me up on all I told the clerk. The clerk was less than helpful. When I asked to talk to a manager, he said that there is not one on the weekends. Believe me I am getting in touch with that manager & letting him know about that night.

NASTY
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/01/08
Bed linens wrinkled and not tucked, and did not smell clean. Told front desk & she said she hoped they changed them. No info regarding Hotel in room, no coffee, crumbs on desk chair, no dead bolt. Should have checked out as soon as we saw the place. Will never go there again.

Worst EVER. Deathtrap!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/23/08
My jacuzzi room had no smoke detector, holes in the walls, the jacuzzi did not work and made the lights dim if you turned it on. I can only wonder what kind of electrical problems were going on. I stayed in my room 17 minutes before leaving. The staff is a joke, they were saying how they couldn't complain to the manager because he was mean. Even though the room was unacceptable and the amenity broken, they charged me a $25 cancellation fee for my 17 minute stay. I would sleep in my car before this rundown dump. Terrible!

Run down Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/26/05
This hotel, was a bit out of date, stale air in all the hallways, kinda stinky in general. The breakfast buffet was bare bones with mini everything. I travel often to Mobile I will be making different arrangements.
