Let Down at Club Level
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/15/07
My guest and I have been a fans of the Ritz. She has been a customer of the Ritz in Paris and many other locations. But, our Phoenix experience was a let down. The front-line staff were excellent and polite, but our experience at the 'Club Level' was not impressive. The room had a great bed, but beyond that it was no more elegant than a midrange hotel. We are well traveled and have stayed in many hotels. The food presentations at club level were excellent, but there was limited entertainment in the cafe, it was simply an uninsprining and dull ambiance.

Fabulous Customer Service
By Klemz, 02/06/07
From the moment you get out of your car, the staff treat you very well. Service was solicitous, prompt, and everything you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber. If I have one complaint, it is that the pool area is substandard (very small pool and tall building block sun for a portion of the day in winter), but that is a minor complaint. However, the workout facilities and locker room are top notch. This also may be the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on in a hotel. Would highly recommend this Ritz Carlton.

Old World Class
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/03/07
The Ritz-Carlton Phoenix is the nicest hotel I have lodged at. The Ritz is unsurpassed service and elegance. When you stay at the Ritz, you will indeed be treated like royalty. The Phoenix Ritz is located in a prime spot in Phoenix. When you walk out the front entrance, you need only turn your head and see beautiful Camelback Mountain in the distance. The service at the hotel was impeccable, the lodgings beautiful and clean and elegant. The hotel is in a great location with many shops, restaurants and pubs in walking distance. The Ritz, of course, is expensive but worth the stay. The hotel includes a nice pool and workout area as well as sauna. By the way, the bed I slept in was the most comfortable bed I have ever laid my head to rest on.

absolutely awful!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/20/05
This hotel had the worst service of any in its class. We had three hangers in a room for two with a king size bed, our smoke detector was hanging off the wall with no batteries, very little light in the room and when calling for some kind of service, be it room service or bell staff, the phones ring and ring. To get anywhere you have to call the front desk. Bravo to the excellent door people and to the interior designer who decorated the bar, it was fabulously beautiful to look at and enjoy. However with the exception of those two things, shame on you Ritz-Carlton, Phoenix.

Always please
By KARL, 09/29/05
EVERYTHING WAS GREAT. MY WIFE AND I ENJOY THE ROOM SERVICE, WE ENJOY THE FOOD. THE LOCATION WAS ALSO VERY EASY TO LOCATE. IF I MUST FIND A DISLIKE, THEN I WOULD SAY THE PRICE, COULD BE LOWER, FOR ROMANTIC PACKAGE.

Wow...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/26/05
Talk about service where they bend over backwards! The personnel was incredible, and their cocktail and cigar room was an excellent place to unwind! The rooms are comfortable, and their food is also top-notch. It is "refined" food that doesn't get TOO exotic. The location lacks a bit, and is on a major road, but otherwise was a wonderful experience!
