Americas Best Value Inn, Monroe

I was here for work. because I travel for my work.After check in.I was not able to find anywhere else.If you like hot water.Do not come here.You do not have it most of the timeThe computer wifi works sometimes..The rooms are old.But clean.Staff in lobby st is ??????.House keeping is friendly.If you travel for work.The motel owners are not friendly.And will not care if you have any discomfort with your stay.We paid for our room on Monday.They never told us about the work going on in the rooms on both sides of us.I had to move on tuesday to another room.Where nothing works.I have been here for over 30 days. and the room taxes ended.But,Because I had to change rooms.The taxes start all over again.So,If you travel for work.And have to stay for a long time.I hope you don't need your computer for work.Because,You will not get much done.Good luck and aviod this one.

i really enjoyed the stay nice quiet and very clean i would recommend this motel to anyone who is traveling the owners were very helpful and considerate . its just a nice place to stop at i couldn not have ask for anthing better. by the way i am from marietta ohio

First off the room had an odor to it that haunted me until I got home and cleaned everything that we took with us. I am not sure if it was from pets or mold or what but we had to use a can of air freshener and 6 candles to be able to stand it. The floor had not been vaccumed and really the only clean things in the room were the beds. We expected that a hotel that brags about having microwaves and fridges would at least have a coffee pot and a blow dryer but neither were available...we even asked. For $100 I expected a decent room...I was sorely disappointed...there was not even a safety latch and the vent for the bathroom was not working either. The only positive thing I can say is that the breakfast looked and tasted fresh. Had this not been a planned birthday celebration I would have demanded my money back. I also question the AAA rating or maybe AAA needs to re review this place.

We stay here every year for an annual fishing trip. The staff is very friendly and as we are considered regulars we get even cheaper fares which is a real bonus. The rooms are clean and in recent years they have refurnished them and added refrigerator's and microwaves to all the rooms. The contiential breakfast is fast and simple which is great for the early risers.
