A nasty rat nest with matching management
In the dark of the night, you may think this place looks decent from the outside....but don't be fooled! The rooms have an odd smell, and the raggedy linens and towels smell nasty too. The blankets and towels are worn and torn and have stains and holes in them, and the elastic in the sheets are so worn out that the sheets won't stay on the bed. You roll over a couple times, and find yourself on the bare mattress. We didn't see any bedbugs, but our children got sick after staying there a day and a half, and we had to take one of them to the E.R. It was a nightmare. The only thing louder than the toilet running all night was the heater clicking and clunking each time it kicked on. Oh, and the fight that broke out in the parking lot at around 1:30am. You see, this hotel is conveniently located right behind the town's biggest nightclub, so when it closes, the local lowlifes continue their "festivities" in the rooms at the hotel. If you didn't read this review, and you stay there, you will likely be charged twenty dollars per towel, for supposed "damages" that you incur to them. Which is particularly bad news if you paid by credit card, and you don't know about those charges until days later, when you are several states away and can do nothing about it! If you are travelling, and this is the only place with a vacancy, I suggest you consider sleeping in your vehicle at a well-lit convenience store instead.
