Marmaris Park, Dalyan

Thomas Cook rate this hotel as 4 star more like 3 at a push. Think carefully before you book this hotel if, you have a disability such as trouble walking, hip or back problems, asthma, if you are pregnant or have young children. The pictures you will find on the internet are very deceptive. It is in a beautiful location without a doubt but the hotel has loads of steps and no lift, few ramps and those there are are very steep. The foods is below average and that is being kind. The staff are nice enough but even the reception staff speak very little English. They have a toaster where you place bread on a rolling conveyor belt and it drops down at the back and you collect your toast underneath. The top part of the toaster where you place your hand to collect the toast was being propt up by a fork. Health and Safety in its basic form is non existant. The chalets are very dark due to the amount of cone trees on the hillside where they have been built . Also it is miles from any shops or restuarants. The only positive things I can say about this hotel is that it is clean apart from the smell from the toilets an the beautiful location. Also at least 2.5 hours from the airport not to mention the time you wll spend at the airport in high season.

This hotel is the best by far and we have stayed in others in Marmaris.It's clean, the staff are very friendly and the food is always good with a great choice.The pools are great, overall great facilities.Were returning with a 1 year old in 3 weeks, can't wait.Would recommend this hotel.

My friends, if you want to have a good rest at this place - rent a car or bike, and ride it off this city, you won't find a single clean beach in Marmaris! But around Marmaris you will gain a lot of great impressions!

used to go to oscar hotel but it has changed hands now the english are not catered for the same full of russans also marmaris has got expensive

Marmaris could be pleasant or awful. That depends on your expectations and preparations. If you like nightlife, penny shoping -- go to center hotels. But don't wait that beach and sea be clean. If you used to run early in the morning go to Siteler area or Icmeler and you find charming pine forest at a sea front,and crystal clean water. If you hate a crowd -- you have a chance to escape, if you feel yourself uncomfortable being alone -- you have a lot of opportunities to find a company.
