Hotel Carindale, Brisbane

This hotel is disgusting there is no air conditioning whatsoever.

The noise from a party on the ground floor meant we couldn't get to sleep - the windows were shaking!!! The rooms were a the small side, but the location made up for that. However, the blare of the speakers made for a miserable night - and the party went to 11.00pm!! Steer away from the TSB restaurant - very slow kitchen (over an hour to get pizzas for the kids). Head to Toscani's across the square- great service and desserts.

The hotel is rated 4 1/2 star what a joke. The decor is really old and grubby. There is a real noise problem from the carpark did not get much sleep. Room service is not what is stated so buy something while you are out.

The staff and service are fanstastic, the rooms are clean, spacious and well appointed. There is easy access to transportation, shopping, restaurants - the Thai place across the street is quite good. The hotel restaurants are good as well, and they have great live music at the pub. While I was there they upgraded the television services as well. The location was perfect for my needs - near enough to whatever I want without being in the middle of the city. I'm looking forward to booking my next stay already!
