Chopin Hotel, Paris

want to stay there next time, because of the location, very romantic, cosy, It's not the best hotel, but i loved it

This hotel is situated inside Passage Jouffroy. (I found the picture of this hotel in quite a few photography books about Paris.) It is small but very charming. The hotel staff was excellent and helpful. The room was clean and adequate. Breakfast was convenient. (However, just step outside to the Passage and you have lots of choices.) Overall, I definitely enjoyed my stay and will come back. Just outside of the hotel, you will find an antique shop (Monsieur Segas) specializing in walking canes. This shop was featured in 'Paris and The Surrealists'. Just around the corner, one will find quite a few antique/vintage bookshops. Just across the street is Passage Panorama where one can find restaurants and more antique shop specializing in stamps and postcards. Behind Passage Jouffroy is a more obscured Passage Verdeau with more antique/vintage shops specializing in photography, european comics, etc. If you are looking for the Paris of yesteryears, I would recommend Hotel Chopin. If you are a surrealist, or an enthusiast of the surrealist movement, you will feel like walking in the footsteps of Andre Breton or Louis Arragon. If you are a couple looking for a quiet nostalgic corner of the busy Paris, this is one of those few places.

I brought a small group of 4 to the Chopin and all enjoyed the stay very much. The location is great for Metro travel and simply walking the neighborhood. It is somewhat away from the main touristy sites but easilly accessable to them. Quiet area of town with many cafes and bistros. This hotel can be recommended to anyone. Dickie Hebert

I brought my daughter to Paris as part of her Sweet Sixteen birthday present. What a treat to stay at a place that does not look like a cookie cutter imprint of everyother hotel! The hotel harks back to a time when things were simpler and more "romantic." The quaint location and the winding hallways added to the enchanment that we experienced during our stay. The staff were curteous and helpful. If you should stay, do not miss the breakfast. It's one of the best that I have had in my various trips to France. The orange juicer is not only great to watch, but the seemingly endless supply of oranges provide a great start to the morning.

sweet and quiet! great downtown location, totally charming, classic small parisian hotel, safe, friendly, wonderful breakfasts, international, low-key interesting fellow guests; have stayed here many times and grown to really care for its friendliness, ease and non-pretension, in a city that is fast, chic, and can feel pressured.

good location but the halls were very small reach your elbos out and they touched the walls im small but dang not that small was under reconstruction but in all good location to the subways and around town

i loved the furntiture and the comfort of it all the service was just so friendly next time i go to paris i will without a doubt stay at the chopin hotel thanks for a great stay!

The Service was great, everyone was so helpful. But the place was like every motel 8, but i wanted something more. the room was large enough for the price! I would got back if they added alittle more spice to the Hotel, that would get a lot of people to go.

i stay there each time i visit paris. Sandrine and the rest of the staff are accommodating, friendly and helpful. the chopin has a great location for shopping and ease of transportation.
