Motel 6, Venice

I stay at the Motel 6 in Venice Fl. every year and this year the price went up and I must say it isn't really worth the winter prices. The place is safe as many older people stay here of a few weeks of travel. The place is full most nights, its clean, nice pool, heated, heat and air work good, room had an oder not very nice. Lighting needs to be improved in the room. Carpet needs to be taken out and new carpet needs to be put down. Pets are allowed, not a good thing for carpet. Not far from beach, golf so the location is great, but a very busy road. Friendly employees, I felt safe in the room and not a bad place to stay for a few weeks or R&R but the price is too high for what you receive.
