Highly NOT Recommended

There was a "building condemned sign on the front". Don't understand why they still are able to operate? I had a confirmed reservation but they could not find it and told me I was out on the street 2 days into my 5 day stay. Had to go to director of the Biltmore (who manages this dump) to be able to stay. The staff hotel staff didn't care and didn't even try to help. Room access cards won't get you in the building ... you have to enter a code and wait for someone to come on the intercom and at night, you're lucky if someone answers in a reasonable period of time. I had to bang on the windows to get someones attention just to get in. The chair at the desk in the room looked like it had been slashed with a knife - the foam rubber was bulging through the slash. The ceiling in the bathroom had a bad repair job where there was obviously a big leak. When someone next door or above (couldn't tell which) uses their sink or shower, the pipes squeal loudly and can be heard distinctly throughout the room. The carpet seams were very apparent and frayed in places. The "kitchen" was not clean, there were only two glasses (and they were wine glasses). There are only four parking spaces for the whole hotel (the rest are private) so they made me park on the street in a subdivision behind the hotel and walk. (Though someone on the staff the next day did give me a short list of numbered spaces in which I could park - the staff the first night didn't know about them). There is no internet access and no restaurant and no continental breakfast - the pool was under repair and not available.
If you want to stay at the hotel from he11, this is your place. Otherwise, if there is no where else available, do yourself a favor and sleep in your car. You'll be safer, cleaner and more comfortable.
