Not on the map
By Mom on the go, 5/6/11
The rate is lower than the average hotels/motels in the Arlington area. This is the only good thing I can say about this place. I mapped out the location, we drove there and found an empty lot. Made two phone calls, and were told crazy things like, "We're here", "I can't tell you where we are", and other such comments which are not very helpful, especially after several hours of driving. We stopped at a convenience store and asked some locals as to the location, and were told it didn't exist. Two people pulled it up on their GPS and it came up with nothing. This is really strange, I have never run into anything like this. We eventually canceled our reservation and stayed elsewhere, and honestly never found the location of this Motel 6 in Arlington. Bad location, staff without knowledge of location, and not worth the hassle.

Great Location for Dallas Cowboy Stadium
By LisaS, 2/8/11
It was a two mile, direct walk to the stadium. We stayed here for the Super Bowl and was very happy. Traffic was terrible leaving the stadium, but we had a pleasant walk to our hotel. Plus, there is a SubWay on the way to the stadium. The hotel was fine. The rooms were clean. The staff at the front desk was very helpful with directions. They do not offer breakfast, just coffee. The rooms did not have hair dryers. Internet connection was an extra $2.99 and I was kicked off the internet many times because of a bad connection. If you want to go to Six Flags, Coboys Stadium, or Ranger Stadium, it is in a great location. It is quite a drive into Dallas to the Sixth Floor Museum or StockYards.

Exceeded Expectations
By Joliet Jane, 10/15/09
This place exceeded expectations! Then again, I had low expectations. It's a Motel 6. You know you can't expect the best here. I was expecting something terrible, but I got something "OK," so it exceeded expectations. All staff were friendly and helpful. I felt welcome as soon as I arrived. There were no bed bugs in my room. I inspected the mattresses first. The bathroom was quite clean and white. The room has obviously been renovated in recent years. The floors have wooden paneling rather than carpeting, which feels much cleaner than carpet. There was one bug on the floor in the bathroom. I don't know what it was, but it wasn't a bed bug. It was probably a baby roach or a beetle, but I didn't see any others. The noise outside from the highway is loud, and there is a nudie bar next door that has thudding bass. My door locked, but was warped and didn't completely shut at the top and bottom edges. It sounded like an open door. I chose not to care. The place is within walking distance of the Cowboys stadium (2 mi.) and Six Flags (1.3 mi.), which saves a lot of money on parking (it's /extremely/ expensive for the stadium). Bottom line: Without Motel 6 being around, I could not have afforded my trip to Dallas-Arlington. Do not judge this place against a place that costs $80+. You get what you pay for here.

Are you kidding me?????
By David, 7/6/08
This has to be the worst Motel 6 in the entire company!!!! We stayed 3 nights. The first 2 nights we dealt with our sink in the bathroom leaking all over the floor out of the drain and the rooms were not cleaned. When i mentioned that the rooms weren't cleaned the front desk lady told me that it was because something was on the beds, when i corrected her about that, she told me it was because we told her that we didn't want the room cleaned. The funny thing is we had 2 rooms and the maids weren't even around when we left and i asked how it was possible to tell them that when they were no where to be found?? The kicker is that EVERY DAY, i had to get a new room key because it wouldn't work. The lady at the front desk told me it was because the new Cowboy's stadium was being built and that when you drive by it, the cards deactivate....ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME????? I only took one of the 2 room keys with me when we left, so how would ALL the cards deactivate? We also swam in the pool, for about 15 minutes, when the rudest person i have ever seen in customer service came out and made everyone that was in the pool uncomfortable by saying, EVERYONE WITH COTTON ON, GET OUT OF THE POOL NOW. IT CLOGS UP MY FILTER AND THEN I'LL HAVE TO CALL SOMEONE OUT TO FIX IT, SO EVERYONE OUT. One other "fun fact" for everyone, the two ladies working at check in time are the same ones that i've had to deal with the whole time. At check in, the lobby was full of people and these two fools were arguing, with each other, about EVERYTHING, IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS!!!! And i guess it's ok for hotel workers to have their kids on their hips while working, where else can you do that other then a day care, that's an awesome job to have!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE, STRIP CLUB AND TATTOO PARLOR IN FRONT WITH A SMOKE SHOP TO BOOT IN THE BACK!!! There was a confrontation with these two ladies and EVERYONE that was in the pool over the cotton issue, they seemed to be a little upset over everyone's attitude, but apparently we weren't the only ones that had issues with these two, because everyone was talking about how rude they were.

BEWARE! Avoid this hotel!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/14/05
The staff and hotel are nice enough. However, there is significant illegal activity going on here. It's like a drive-thru drug mart, constant traffic through the parking lot all night while men sit outside their rooms and rush over and hold coversation with those driving through. They are watched by even more men on the second level. There were also very VERY young scantily clad women, walking up and down past the room doors. The hotel is also located behind a strip club and tatoo parlour. None of these things can you tell by the Motel 6 website. We were adults so we toughed it out for one night, since we arrived at 12:30am and were unfamiliar with the area. We got up and left at 6am. We were supposed to stay a second night, but we couldn't leave fast enough. I was relieved my car wasn't stole or broken into. I phoned Motel 6 and they told me they were not resposible for the actions of their guest and I should have called the police. Yeah, right, I'm going to make a target out of myself. I told them it's not my job to police thier business and that I would have to be pretty desperate to stay in a Motel 6 again. If I had children I would NEVER have stayed there.
