Parador Perichi's, Cabo Rojo

Roaches, stained bedsheets, iron-burned rug, peel-off paint off the ceiling, vintage TV set barely working, disgusting bathtub, more roaches, mildew smell, cigarrette burned nighstand, more roaches, rude front desk people, indifferent people. If this is the only hotel available, do yourself a favor, stay in your car.

Este hotel es horrible! Toda la habitacion estaba sucia, apestaba a humedad, la alfombra del hotel se te pegaban los pies, la cama llena de pelo y las sabanas llenas de chicle! Y para completar, el aire acondicionado del cuarto se quemó y empezó a tirar chispas y había agua en las chispas. Para completar, el hotel no me dio otro cuarto y aun no era hora del checkout y no me devolvieron el dinero. Le doy un 0 a este hotel. No se queden en el. El loby no es 24 horas como en otros hoteles. Es una porqueria. El personal no tiene cortesía y no saben tratar a sus huespedes.

We were 4 days at the hotel for our anniversary. We are Puerto Rico residents with many years visitsing this hotel. I think it is time to invest in remodeling it. Rugs are old and stained. Although they announce Cable TV, only local channels are available (yes visitors do rest and watch TV while in the room). We did not use the swimming pool because it was dirty. Furniture seems to be 10 to 15 years old and bathrooms leak when using the shower. Though we have good memories of this hotel and the people who work there, we don't think we will stay there again unitl changes are made.

This Parador needs to improve the rooms service. The customer service in the fisrt shift is very poor. The bed are very hard and need more cleanliness.

The hotel lost our reservation and had no more of the room type we reserved available. We opted to take the larger room (rather than the smaller one) and paid quite a bit more than anticipated. The room itself was filthy. There were body hairs in the blankets and stuck to the bathroom door, which also had disgusting brown drips. The bed had no mattress pad. The sheet was so terribly thin and worn that I could read the mattress brand through it. The couch in the room was so stained with mold I didn't even want to put our luggage on it, let alone sit on it. Luckily there were disposable plastic cups in the room because the two glasses they provided had obviously not been washed since the last tiem they were used. The ice bucket contained stale water that smelled funny. The pool was so cloudy and murky that we couldn's see the bottom except for some large dark stains. There was also knots of long dark hair floating in it. This place was so disgusting we left early. I couldn't wait to get out of there!

Problems with everything from the A/C not working properly to bugs infesting the room.The room was not cleaned well.Forget about any kind of english speaking TV.Left after bugs came and had to pay for a night we didn't stay.Travel to area often.Will not go back to perichis.

In comparison to the other hotels in the area, this is by far the best place. Confortable, afortable, great food and friendly owners. There over 20 different restaurants in the area with a variety of prices and specialties. What most impressed me was that you can ask any clerk of the hotel information about other hotels feautures or other restaurants in the area and they will be so sincere and will even provide you with the phone numbers of the competition. WOW!
