Beach Quarters Resort, Daytona Beach Shores

The place was dirty, dirty, and dirty. I had a hard time justifying staying. But price was good, and location was great and the view was fantastic. Please consider what is important before booking. Some hotels closer by seem a lot nicer but may be higher in price.

My first visit here was so peaceful. The view is awesome and the suite was wonderful. I did a weekend retreat for myself and had everything i needed. I am planning to book a weekend per month just for me. The young lady at the front desk has a warm, welcoming spirit. Thank you

Great location! Great prices! Room was perfect! Living room with balcony, eat-in dining area, full kitchen, seperate bedroom with queen bed. Couldn't ask for more. Lady at the front desk was VERY helpful & courteous. View was breathtaking. Heated pool, guest laundry...will definately be back!

I loved the location and there's nothing to dislike about it. Rental rates are fabulous.

This was a nice little hotel. The beach and pier were visible from the window. The rooms were spacious and clean. I'll be back when the weather warms up!

I was surprised by the size of the rooms were big ,Great Kitchen seperate room all loded with pots and pans ready to cook.Great view of the Fishing peer,Outdoor Heated pool. Only wire less internet is not in the room but lobby is free . Staff was great.

We were here the second week of October 2007 and it was better that I had expected. No crowds this time of year and it's very convenient to anyplace you want to go. I decided on this hotel after reading other reviews both here and on Tripadvisor. The location and price are unbeatable as well as the room. We had room 306 which has two double beds in the bedroom and it was $69 per night. Hard to beat for right on the beach. Our balcony had two fairly comfortable rockers and we could see the pier and beach. Nice place to relax before turning in for the night. Having a seperate bedroom was probably the best feature for us and was certainly better than the standard type of hotel room. The seperate bedroom provides some privacy for the kids to watch tv while you can relax on the comfortable couch (which pulls out to make another bed) after a day at the beach or Disney World. Having a full size refrigerator along with a stove, microwave, sink and dishes is a big plus as well. This place is located away from all the noise of the main part of Daytona which made it perfect for us. Don't miss Crabby Joe's on the pier. Not 5 star food or decor but a great place for a casual lunch or a drink and Mike's downstairs serves a good breakfast overlooking the beach. Not a bad way to greet the day. Did I mention that we loved this place? Staff was friendly and helpful and the room and the rest of the hotel (elevator, lobby, hallways etc.) were clean and bright. Will definitely stay here next time we're in Daytona.

We stayed at the Beach Quarters in December of 2004 and I was thrilled that we found it. They were so friendly and it was very clean and bright. Everytime we stepped into our condo it just had such a happy and comfortable feel with all the bright and beachy colors and the decks were quite large and private and the little diner overlooking the beach and had a great breakfast with a great view of the water. My husband loves to rock and was pleasantly surprised when there were two rockers on the deck. As you can tell I totally agree with the other reviews this place is special. They also had little activities going on each day like make your sundaes one day and some arts and crafts another. Staff always answered every question we had regarding directions or what to see. Very helpful and friendly. It is a quiet happy place. We will be back!

We've been staying here since 1997 and visit every year. Don't miss Mike's as others have stated, and Crabby Joe's on the pier. Service is super. The rooms are beautifully done and many notches above the standard bed in a box motel room. Separate bedroom, 2 TVs, VCR, rockers on balcony. You can't beat this place if Daytona is your destination. It is also far enough away from boardwalk to avoid the teenage craziness that happens there, but close enough to go there if you want. Also close to the Ponce Inlet and lighthouse (don't miss it) and the Sugar Mill Gardens (another Daytona secret). An activity coordinator is poolside to assist, entertain, and provide beach chairs and pool toys.

Best kept secret of Daytona Beach Shores. Very friendly, quality place to stay. Close to Publix, lots of restaurants, and very clean. Room was well appointed, especially for the price. Balconies have two large rockers. Just a comfortable, quiet place to stay.
