Quality Inn Mayport, Atlantic Beach

It is dirty and not maintained. The room had a smell that was undiscribable. They need to put some money into this place.

internet connection didn't work well. the a/c was noisy. no contental breakfest. i wouldn't stay here again. the hotel was nice though. the pool was great.

This hotel is not as other comfort inn's that we have visited. The room description stated to be 2 queen size beds. The room we occupied was not Queen size beds. The beds were Full size beds, which were very uncomfortable, the pilows were paper thin. No luxury at all about this room. My mom and dad occupied a King size room. They too complained about the bed not being comfortable. The bed in their room was very hard. I do not recommend this Comfort Inn to anyone. We were very unhappy. At check out no one asked how was your stay. All other Hotels I've stayed they have always asked how was your stay. I am totally disappointed. I liked the fact that it was near all of my attractions for the weekend. It also was near local stores, a mall, and plenty eating facilities.

I have family in Atlantic Beach, and this hotel wasn't always a great place to stay. When it was primarily used for the contractors coming in to work for the Navy, it was not a place I would have recommended for a family, but now it is great. I only booked it because I needed an affordable room last minute, and now I know I'll use it every time I come back and visit. The rooms are clean, the pool and garden are pretty, and the service could not get any better. Bravo to Comfort Inn in there clean up efforts, it all worked and you have a nice place there!

The location and the price was excellent. The hotel was clean an the bed comfortable. The water pressure was to week to knock a fly off the wall, hard to get the shampoo out of your hair. The staff that I encountered were very pleasant and helpful. Being so close to the Navy base there are times when this hotel is used for overflow for Naval personnel in route. During our stay they started drinking first thing in the morning and this continued throughout the day. By late afternoon they were pretty well intoxicated. The screaming and yelling continued until they migrated into the bar. After the bar closed they were back in the pool, even though it was closed. It was not until 2:30 am that I called the front desk and complained and within about an hour it was quiet enough to sleep. This makes it hard for guest that have to work the next day. In spite of all the good things about this hotel it is hard to ignore the loud drunken sailors, the empty beer bottles left on all the tables outside and even the broken ones on the sidewalk. It seems to me it would be smarter to get some security rather than work your cleaning crew to death. All the signs were there and they were ignored, the girls working the front desk should not have address this nor should the maid or custodial service, there should be a security staff there to makes sure it never gets to this point.

The service was wonderful everyone was friendly the room was nice the pool was clean. I had to run out last minute for wedding (earlier than I thought) and didnt leave things exactly straight. When I came back in everything thing was arranged including my clothes that I threw on the bed
