So So

The hotel and room did not resemble the pictures on their website. The lobby was nice enough, but the evening staff was not very friendly or helpful. When we asked about a map of the area we were redirected to some other staff member who tried to heckle us into one of the those 90 minute resort tours. After politely declining several times, he then tried to heckle us into dining at several very expensive restaraunts that he claimed to have worked at. We tried the one that he said was budget friendly, but I do not consider $13 a plate budget friendly. During the entire conversation he kept spitting into the pool area! I can only hope there was a trash can on the other side of the wall, but from where I was standing I couldn't see. The pool was much smaller and much less attractive than the picture, but we never got to swimming. We were not given any directions on how to get to our room. It was the farthest away from the office and was missing its number tag. The room was not at all like the picture, but was clean enough. The morning staff were a little more friendly and vastly more sanitary. The breakfast room was small and very crowded (we were not the only ones that had to wait for a seat) and breakfast was the usual cold cereal and white toast. (Avoid the cranberry juice! It was all watery and sickeningly sweet, yuck.) Overall, this is not the place to go if you're looking for a nice, romantice or top-line vacation spot; but for an inexpensive, relatively clean one-night stay, it works.
