Is Three The Magic Number?
By Makeda, 02/18/09
I have visited the Ramada on two previous visits, and found it wonderful. The hotel was one of the best parts of the visits. Three was not the magic number. The hotel is apparently under new management and it shows. The rooms wer not filthy, but they were not really clean. There was dust of the chairs, the microwave had dust, the furniture had not been polished and the water container has dirt around the edges. Most idsheartening was the fact that the shhets on the bed were not ironed. Apparently they had been taken our of the drier and place on the best. The pillow cases were in the same condition. When I called the front desk and asked house keeping to change the bed because of stains on the sheets, I was given two sheets to change the bed myself. This was not the hotel I had enjoed being in two previous times. Plus the bagels for breakfast were stale!! I will never stay there again. As a person who visits Augusta for leisure and comfort, I will check into the Best Western, next door, for my next visit!
