Club Intrawest Kauai, Princeville

Every morning wake up with the cascading waterfalls off the mountain side. Beautiful grounds and the pool was very relaxing. We had our family, go on many adventures days,so many thing to do. Queens Baths, Kayak down the Hanalei River to the beach, snorkeling and hiking to all different spots. This was one of our best family vacations ever.

I had unit 5A, obviously an older unit. It was a DUMP!! I can't believe they allow anyone to stay in it. I only stayed two nights and moved to the Marriott Waoiko in Poip and had to pay out of pocket $$$$for 5 nights of rest and convenience! The carpet was torn, it had a musky smell. The furniture was old, chipped, mismatched and cheap...particle board! The doors on the cabinet was coming off the hinges. The vertical binds were falling down. Bugs and geckos were obviously at home in this unit...and it was on the top floor! I asked to be move to a newer renovated unit...sorry those are reserved for members. I cannot believed I traded my highly valuable Fairfields/Wynham points for this DUMP!

The hotel room was very spacious, however we found many drawbacks. First, the shower in the Master bathroom had a huge hole in the ceiling and the shower bottom would almost cave in when you stood on it. We found a dead cockroach in the washer/dryer area and the previous guest's dirty boxer shorts between the bed and headboard in the second bedroom. The maids obviously did a horrible job cleaning the unit. The hotel scheduled maintenance in the unit above us, causing hammering and pounding noises all day, and they also scheduled a pest control spray of our room while we were still staying there! Overall, the hotel was not clean, and the service staff was unkind and kind of rude. This resort is supposed to be 4 stars, but I feel as though it should be 1 or 2.

This is a fabulous resort with huge 2 bedroom units that are tastefully decorated and lovingly maintained. Over 2000 sq ft with huge lanai that goes the entire length of the unit. Large kitchen, dining area, 3 TVs, DVD/VCR, Wi-Fi in the units, most have 2 jacuzzis in the unit, Washer/dryer...all updated amenities. It's a small resort adjacent to the golf course and overlooking the Cliffs. Very quiet area. Lots of activites supplied by the resort, and additional ones to explore on your own. Enjoy!

I was disappointed with the place. We had top unit, so we didn't encountered any noise problem. However, the place was a dump...the kitchen area and the master bedroom had a foul smell. It's time to remodel the older units and put new stuff in there.

i loved it there.im 15, and kids will enjoy it! the view is BEAUTIFUL! the pool is really pretty with the waterfalls going into it, as with the jacuzzi.the lobby is really nice too.and they offer so many activities, you can never get bored.when i was there, there was a little crisis.the power went out all over the hotel.however they handled it very well, they gave out candles and coolers 4 your food.they had everything under control, and evryone there is really nice.i loved it!

I had read reviews about Ka'Eo Kai before we left for our vacation and felt sick to my stomach, but it turned out to be a beautiful place. I don't know what the other people were thinking. No, it didn't have AC, but there were ceiling fans and a couple of fans on stands. The nights there were very comfortable and cool. We had the windows open and it was very quiet. Our unit 24B, was very nicely furnished and both bathrooms had a LARGE whirlpool tub with a separate glass shower. The only drawback to the bathroom in our room was that it was open to the bedroom and our kids couldn't come in when anyone was taking a shower since the shower was clear glass. The toilet was in a little closet of it's own in the bathroom and that was great! The pool was beautiful! It had a large waterfall that spilled into the pool and a hidden sand bottom hot-tub behind the rocks. We didn't have a beach available from Ka'Eo Kai, but we didn't have to drive far to find several beaches that weren't crowded at all! We found that our stay was way too short!!! We didn't want to leave!
