Blondell Motel, Rochester

Tremendous place to stay...if you are headed to Rochester for St. Mary's Hospital, you can't get a better place to pick. Blondells is literally a hundred feet from the entry to the hospital. The rooms are ultra-clean, the lobby is filled with Swedish antiques, and the restaurant is very good. Daytime manager (Bret? Brad?) is a pleasure, helped us in our time of need. I think we paid $63 for a double room, a fancy antiquated room, reminded me of past stays in European hotel rooms. Parking free, a huge plus. I guess if you have to come to St. Mary's Hospital or the Mayo Clinic, this is the hotel to stay at!

I've never had my own room at blondells, but i was a regular at thier "crown resturant" untill i moved away. cheep menu and good food. their steak is awsome, and the sample plater is big... and the servise is good. Sue is my favorite waitress ever !
