Alakai Hotel & Suites, Lake Delton

We stayed at this hotel with 2 other families and found it to be very clean. The rooms are very spacious and prices were decent. The owners were kind and polite and were there if you needed anything. Our toilet plugged and the owner was there in seconds to recify the problem. We will be back in 2010 again!!!!! Hats off to the Alakai!!!!!!!

The Alakai is the Best Hotel the; Staff are WONDERFUL, Rooms are always clean and neat. This is the only Hotel that me and my Husband will go to and it has been 6 years and Strong for attending the Alakai Hotel; I couldn't ask for a Better Place to stay; Thanks Alakai for making our Weeks and Weekends Getaway Beautiful and Rememable. BHAMAJE.

We made reservations 2 weeks in advance for 2 adults and 2 kids. Below is a list of problems we had the first day we were there. *Walked into the double queen room and there were scuffs on the walls *The carpet looked very dirty *there was a stain on one of the sheets on the bed *there was no coffee pot in the room or complimentary coffe in the lobby as advertised *there were no extra towels in the room or in the pool area...and when we called the front desk...they did not give us any extra when asked and were rude about it. *there was no extra shampoo in the room for kids to shower *The front desk staff was very negative and unwilling to correct the problems we brought to their attention *when i talked to the manager for a refund, the manager was very defensive and unwilling to give a refund for the rest of the days we booked there (I said i would pay for the first day but was unhappy). The manager said there was no gaurentees for service , and most of the hotels in the area were the same (I asked at other hotels and this was a lie). After much discussion, the manager finally agreed to credit for days not slept there. *the pools and hottub were also very cold ****In short this was a very poor hotel and extremely bad customer service, and i would not recommend it to anyone.

I stayed at the Alakai Hotel last weekend for a volleyball tourney being held in the Dells and let me start off by saying that the manager is a wonderful lady and she made our weekend what it was. The overall cleanliness was superb and everybody working there was very nice to us. The price was perfect for a family of 5 in a room with two queen size beds and a sleeper sofa! Wi-Fi throughout the hotel was great because I do my work in the lobby or pool area. Everything was great!!

Not because of the hotel itself, but because of the service. It was the worst service that I have ever seen at a hotel. There were only five, at the most rooms occupied in the hotel this weekend. I forgot towels for my two Grandchildren. It was like pulling teeth trying to get them to give me one extra one. They had my credit card. I would have bought a couple. Two kids had to share one towel. My mother (almost 80 years old) asked the lady at the front desk for a couple extra pillows. She has a lot of physical problems and the pillows give her much more comfort. The lady at the front desk, rudely refused to give her an extra pillow. There are a lot of great hotels in Wisconsin Dells in this same price range. I will choose a different one next time.

nice hotel, handicap accessible, but needs a few things fixed 1. you need a 4 legged table, 36 inches high bto roll under 2. you need to make ramp to outside pool. the outside pool is NOT ACCESSIBLE 3.. a push button electric lobby door to enter the hotel alone would be nice overall, a nice clean hotel, with a great helpful staff

We had the worst stay in the Dells. The indoor pools, both the adult and kiddie pool were freezing. My son would not even go in. They were too cold. The service desk told us that the heater was outside and they usually don't turn it on til later in the year!? This is for year-around pools? Also, we tried to check out a day early and was told that we would not get any refund for the next day, we would still have to pay for the night because we had booked it. I have never heard of a hotel refusing to cancel a night's booking with notification. The customer service definately left something to be desired. I will have to say that the rooms were at least clean and the beds comfortable, if a bit outdated. I would never recommend to anyone to stay here. We have been to several of the hotels in the Dells area, and this was by far, the worst.

This Hotel was so fun the whirl pool was so cool. I loved going to this hotel because there sevice was exelent and there rooms were always clen. Even when we were gone somewhere when we came back they were clean. I can't wait to go back!

Nice play to stay...had more than what we needed for a family of three. Enjoyed the pools. Had music for us to listen to while lounging outside as the little guy was playing in the water! Recommend to anyone person or family who looking for a nice enjoyable time to relax!

Just a 3 minute drive to the crazyness, but just far enough to be restfull. The hotell is imaculately clean, the pool perfectly balanced and wonderful temperature. The kiddie pool is beautiful enough to let your little one's imaginations run wild. With the Desert Cinemas accrss the street, Ponderosa, Pizzeria UNO, Colvers, and Burger King at walking distance, and Mc Donald's accross the street as well as Damien Ribs you are just perfectly situated. Yes the staff at Alakai is ultra friendly, and that is because the owners are at the head of their game, they don't hide, right at the front desk. This past year they also added a fantasy outdoor pool with palm trees, slide and water fall too. For a very romantic getaway try one of their Jacuzzi Fireplace Suites, perfect to rekindle the old flame if you know what I mean. The indoor Whirlppol Tub, and Sauna is just perfect to release the tension and soar muscles from a hard day at play, or forget how much money you lost at Ho Chunk.
