Caritas Bianchi Lodge, Kowloon City

I like this hotel very much because it's too near the MTR "Yau Ma Tai" station (Exit C) and the hotelier are too kind and try to speak English. Location is safe. Breakfast is ok. Everything I met is very good.

It is a bit expensive but then again this is most probably because of its location. It's a 5 minute walk from the closest train station and there is a 7-11 just across the hotel. It's in a really good location. Also, I believe the lodge donates some of its profits to the needy. The service was very good and friendly. There is a security guard on duty at night. The staff spoke English and were very helpful. The rooms were cleaned daily. I stayed in a very comfortable triple bedroom with my parents. I will definitely stay there again. Good service, clean comfortable rooms, excellent location and some of the money goes to the needy.What more can I ask for?

id like this place caritas bianchi lodge to stay for a short period of time .it very convenient for me to get my transportation, and near by for places that i want to visits.

My partner and I stayed at the Caritas in July, 2007 for 4 nights. It's very basic and you get what you pay for. The location was great... just off Nathan Road. Very close to Jade market and many other shopping areas. The hotel was clean and the staff... helpful. Front door staff very polite. Breakie each morning was fine...Asian and western choices. Just enough food to get us started for the day. Cheap and good location. After a full day in Hong Kong, it's a nice walk home in the evening... straight up Nathan Road for about 30 mins. ?? from the ferry terminal. Buses just outside (if you wish) to take you to the Star terminal in the morning if you're in a rush. Easy to do. Metro close by as well. We've been around.. and this place is great for the money. Isn't Hong Kong expensive enough? :-) Airport bus can take you directly to hotel. Easy to arrange with the hotel to the airport as well. We will stay there again when back in Hong Kong :-) K & S, Ottawa, Canada

have stay here a number of times when in hongkong, but the last time it was some 10 years back. would to to come this Sept 2007 again hope I can booked as soon as possible.

The best thing about the place is its location its about a minute walk to the mtr station....and that is a plus factor for travellers...very accessible... Its clean....and the concierge actually talks in english....the people are polite... although don't expect a room with a good view...

i will definitely recommend the lodge to others...we stayed there for 3 nights. at first i was dissappointed bec its an old bldg. but when we i saw the room, it was clean and spacious..unlike other new hotels..the place is not crowded..quiet and very safe..if you're not after a 5 star hotel, just a clean room and right location (very accessible),then this is the right place for you...

Caritas Lodge is a great place to stay. But keep in mind this is a Christian sponsored "lodge" and not a hotel, so you cannot expect any luxury amenities like disco or bar. Though located in the heart of the busy Yaumati District, yet it's secluded and has less pedestrians hanging around the neighborhood. We've got a nice, clean double room facing the mountain so it was nice and quiet for a good night sleep. The restaurant has good food for VERY reasonable price. It has easy access to the subway system, and it's also within walking distance to the night markets. The staff was well trained, very professional and courteous. Most of all, the security was great and you never have to worry about having uninvited phone calls from strange women in the middle of the night. (Trust me, there's plenty of those around in HK, especially on any hotel rated less less than 3 stars.) A big plus is the Airport Shuttle stops right in front of the lodge at the cost less than taking a cab. The room rate is probably the best comparing to the other 2-3 Star hotels around. I would say it's the best value you can get for your money. Highly recommended!
