Very Bad.
By ,
Made a reservation. Arrived at midnight to be told they are out of rooms. The guy at front desk told us that the room availability is based on demand and is not dependent on my reservation??? 20 minutes later, after double checking the schedule he put as in the smallest room available (not the one I reserved). There was hair in the bed, stains on sheets and stain on the floor. This place is MUCH worse than motel 6, that charges a fraction of what they charged me. I drove to Double Tree 3 minutes away from this place and ended up paying $150 instead of $110. Save yourself time and Stay away from this place.

Loved It!
By ,
We recently got back from a week stay in Puerto Rico. We were originally booked for the sister hotel, At Wind Chimes, and they upgraded us here (not sure why) and loved it here. When we checked in, Felix, made us a copy of 2 maps, and wrote in the best resteruants, trollies, busses and Walgreens were. He was amazing. Our room was so nice and clean and big with its own private balcony. The location of this hotel is perfect, away from the really touristy places, but within walking distance to the beach, a wonderful bakery (Kasalta is a must go to!) great authentic resteraunt (Bebos) and Old San Juan. I would recommend staying here in a heartbeat. If you need parking, its at the small lot At Wind Chimes, but not too far away. Great place. We're coming back next year!!

Hidden Treasure
By ,
We recently returned from our stay at the Acacia. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The decor is artistic and lovely and the rooms are kept very clean. The location 1/2 block from the beach was wonderful. It is a few blocks walk to affordable restaurants and about 1/2 mile to the nearest casino if you like to gamble!! Our room on the first floor had a window opening to a walkway so we needed to keep the curtains drawn but that was a small inconvenience. The room was sufficient for our needs and was furnished with a king-bed, dresser, night table and a small t.v.Missing was a full length mirror. There was ice available in a machine, nice jacuzzi and a gourmet dinner restaurant on the site.A block away at the sister Wind Chimes Inn was a restaurant for breakfast, lunch and drinks. We would most certainly stay again and recommend it highly if you want a place with personality .

Already planning next years trip there
By ,
I loved the beautiful design of the hotel not to mention that it was literally 10 steps away from the beach!!. That scored big with me since I was on vacation from New York City. It was a pleasure staying there and the staff was friendly. It felt like you were part of a family. Amenities at both the Acacia and it's sister hotel At the wind chimes inn were available to us. We took advantage of the quaint pool and awesome hot tub! On the plane ride back to Manhattan We were already planning next year's trip back to my homeland and back to the Acacia.

I loved this small hotel
By ,
We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 nights at Acacia. The staff is very accommodating - Lynette with reservations and questions in advance and once we arrived, Felix was EXTREMELY helpful in guiding us toward restaurants, bars and tours. I would encourage anyone to stay here. The restaurant will be open very soon - but I had the opportunity to taste the new chef's food across the street At Wind Chimes. That, too, was a very nice place to spend some time. The rooftop deck at Acacia is beautiful and very secluded since I don't think anyone used it but me. I think Acacia is a great value for the money. We were in room #308 and you could see the ocean from sitting on the bed - less than a block away!

Loved it!
By ,
This small hotel was an exceptional place to stay. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The bar in the new section is nearly completed and will be much more convenient. The hot tub is amazing. Even though we had to cross the street to go to At The Wind Chimes Inn, to use the pool, have a drink and to check-in and out, it made little difference. Can't wait to go back.

Great Expectations.
By ,
This small hotel has beautifully decorated rooms. The location is excellent and the wind of the sea coming in through the balcony is very caressing. Although there are no phones in the room and the back portion is still under renovation I felt very comfortable.I'm sure the best is yet to come for this hotel.
