Bridge Hotel, Amsterdam

I only stayed here for two nights. I was a bit put off by the fact that there was no porter or anyone to assist with bags, etc.. I figured for the price per night that would be a "given". The location was great - walking distance to alot of great sites and near several tram stops. Appeared to be secure, alot of surveillance. I would stay here again - the rooms are european sized - but nice and tidy. Aside from the smoke which filled my non-air-conditioned non-smoking room from the adjacent balcony, it was nice and provided all the amenities in the room that I expected.

The Bridge Hotel is one of those places you find that you will want to return to time after time. The folks are freindly, the service is superb and for what you pay you get a stay worth quite a bit more. The Bridge is located away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, yet within an easy walk to anything and everything you want to see in Amsterdam. I give this hotel five stars without hesitation!
