Keep on driving to the next hotel

I'm sure the Rodeway Inn isn't the worst hotel in Pensacola, but they seem to be actively working towards it.
Our rooms were poorly maintained, had roaches, and a convenient half inch crack under the door so their roach friends could visit. The furniture, room and bathrooms were shabby, and had not seen a thorough cleaning in some time.
I needed to be up early for a meeting on Saturday, and the bar/lounge had a live band that played until 1:30 AM. Since the walls are thin and the doors have gaps, it sounded like the band was in the room.
Considering how poorly maintained the rooms are, the pricing should have been much lower than other area hotels.
The weekend I visited, there was a cold snap (30 degrees). When I turned on the heat it sounded like a 747 taking off, and it shot burnt dust into the air. I shut it off, figuring that at least the cold would kill some of the bugs and mildew.
