Days Inn Augusta Wheeler Road, Augusta

The hotel looks nice enough on outside, but the inside is not nice. The room was very dark even with all the lights on. There were holes in the walls, broken glass on a floor that needed vacuumed anyway. The shower and toliet did not work, I had to find a person staying there to fix them. The beds were uncomfortable, but there was plenty of pillows. The internet did not work, and the staff did not know how to even reboot the system. The pool was not even ready, was told probably not until late June....the temperatures were in the 90's while we were there and all the other hotels had their pools up and ready. The staff in office were rude, the lobby was very cluttered and unwelcoming. The breakfast consisted of coffee, juice and donuts on a very tiny counter in lobby...I suggest Waffle House about a block down. The hotel is not easy to get in and out of...can only enter from one direction. I asked for them to have UPS pick up a package and three weeks later they still had not done so. I will only stay there again if I'm there on business and have no other choice. The only good thing was there was no evidence of bugs.
