Four Points by Sheraton Norwalk, Norwalk

I stayed on August 2nd and 3rd (Friday/Saturday), 2009 and unfortunately was not pleased. I put in for a 3:30 am wake-up call on Saturday morning and never got the call. I later found out that my phone was inoperable during my whole stay. After returning from a day selling pottery at an arts and crafts show in South Norwalk, Connecticut I was hot, tired and sweaty and was looking forward to cooling off in my room only to find out that the air conditioning was not working. It was fixed shortly after making a call to the front desk with my cell phone. On Sunday morning the toilet wasn’t working; I think it was the chain in the tank to the handle. The beds were uncomfortable and the pillows as well. Although the room was very clean it had the smell of carpet cleaner used to hide the smell of other odors. The hotel and room were generally run down. Finally on Sunday morning checkout there was not a luggage cart to be found so I hade to lug everything by hand. The only positive spin on this unfortunate stay was that I booked it through priceline.com and paid $45/night (+fees). I think I got the room reserved for discount bookers like myself. My wife and I travel quite a bit not using priceline.com and I guarantee you I will not be staying at a Four Points By Sheraton again.

Free bottled water was one little bottle for two people.Very noisy room .People that work the front desk need to get some people skills !!!!

The good stuff: it had a decent view and great internet access. The bad: about everything else. The staff and waiters were rude, the food wasn't good, and the facilities were so-so. It certainly wasn't a good value for the money, which was especially disappointing because it was our second choice during our business stay.

My husband, daughter and myself chose this place to be our "home away from home" while we attended my father's 70th birthday party. We stayed for two days. The housekeeping people were the high point. Nice people. Wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. My second favorite thing was the business center. If you didn't bring your laptop (there is WIFI available) there is a small room downstairs with two computers. Both have internet access. The bathroom in our room was beautiful. It was large, had a wall of mirrors over the bathroom sink area and a full body mirror behind the door. We had two double beds...both very comfortable and having a lot of pillows.

the room was dark and small. found hair in the bathroom. the room smelled like smoke. the food was good though. great pool. i wouldn't stay here again.

Compared to the other Hotels on the street the four Ponts hotel is definately the best. The beds are very luxurious for the price. The Duvet is so thick and the decrative pillows are a nice touch. Also, i've never seen a hotel room with a cordless phone. very impressed. and i only paid $64 to stay there with an internet coupon.

The room was very clean well kept walls, bathtub,pillows and carpet. Would recommend this hotel to a friend as first choice. At the front desk the young Chris was very helpful professional and welcoming. keep up the good work!!!!

It was close to the Interstate, and the room was luxurious. No roaches in our room! We felt like royalty!

Very nice accomodations for the price. The mattress was the best I've ever slept on at any establishment I've ever stayed at.

I have been traveling to the Wilton/Norwalk, CT for several years. I find the Four Points to be the best hotel in the area. I always get a good night's sleep. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are clean. The Internet access is good. It has a nice bar/cafe/restaurant on the the ground floor. Room service menu is OK and food is par.
