Great Place!

Went to Surfside Beach Resort for a 3 day weekend, I loved it! The room was newly remodeled and clean, There is no "continental breakfast" but the hotel is right across the street from a diner/cafe. You are on the beach right next to the Surfside Pier. Everyone is super nice. You can walk to restaurants, stores/shops, bars, I really loved the neighborhood atmosphere and would definately go there again!

Poor Management

When I was there they had a fire and the manager was rude . I wrote a letter to the CEO to see how they were going to compensate my mother and I due to the damages we suffered to our things. They contacted me and told me they would call me in two-three weeks and I never heard from them again. They have lost my business as well as the business of my family. The Holiday Inn right up the street was very kind and nice to us.

IT'S LIKE GOING BACK HOME!!!

My husband, Greg, and I have been going to Days Inn Surfside Beach Resort for over 13 years. We go every February and every October. It's a wonderful family place. When we come in, several of the front desk staff remember us by name. We always get hugs and special treats from Helen and Virginia in the restaurant. We eat breakfast there every morning. When they use to be open for lunch and supper...we would eat all 3 meals there. We love them. We love the location and we love the beach. Couldn't ask for a better place to tay.

Love this Days Inn

We have been staying here at this hotel since 1997 and have been back pretty well every year since then. The restaurant is fantastic absolutely love Helen and Virginia and the rest of the staff there. My husband and I a stayed there for our honeymoon and he had a emergency because he is a diabetic and the manager and staff where very helpful at a very stressful time. I plan on being there next week and can't hardly wait to get there. I will always stay at this hotel.

No free complimentary breakfast

The rooms were small, carpets were dirty. The maid service was excellent. One thing I did not like was that when I pre-paid (a week in advance) and 2 days before when I called the hotel I was told they had a free complementary breakfast, which is a nice feature for hotels, we stayed in one in Florence, SC this night before going into the beach, which was excellent, but it was a differenct chain. I will look for the hotel chain in Florence, SC for my next trip. For the price you pay I think the complementary breakfast would be nice, and maybe make sure your staff and the people who book your rooms (did not know where they were) know to tell people no it is not free, but there is a resteraunt in the hotel. Maybe your hotel should consider this.

great place to stay

My girlfriend and I stayed here the week of July 13th. We were very impressed with the quality we recieved for the price. I would recomend this hotel to anyone staying in the Myrtle Beach area. I stay at many different hotels throughout the year for work and the service here is top notch. Planning to go back in Sept.

A great place to stay!!

I really have enjoyed every stay here at the Days Inn Surfside!! The staff is fan-tab-U-lous!!! They are always ready to assist you!! The rooms are clean, and the dinning is good! Located on a nice lot right in the middle of Surfside Beach! Go and enjoy the sunshine!!

Days inn was the first hotel we come to the staff was so nice my sister@I had a wonderful vacation everything was right at our finger tips,the only bad thing was only one elavator was working but we did'nt let that stop us from our fun we would surely be back! AKA Thelma & Louies

Great Value, Location, Great Hotel!

I loved this hotel..it is right on the beach and all rooms have a view of the ocean..the rooms were loaded with extras like room safes, fridge, and microwave..they were very clean and the staff were very helpful...the hot tub and heated pool are great as well...it is also right next to the fishing pier so it is a great location for those looking to do some fishing...plenty of bars and eating places within walking distance...the bar next door has a live band and great drinks..i don't want to stay anywhere else when i visit Myrtle Beach area but Days Inn Surfside!
