No elevator, no internet, no cable: NO WAY!

We checked in and were overwhelmed by the fact that there was no elevator - and our room was on the 4th floor! Glad we did not bring my 83 year old father.....The heat in the room was stifling- thought it would cool off while we went to dinner and sightseeing. Got back after midnight and the ac had not cooled off the room - it was 97 degrees that day! In addition, there were spiders everywhere, the place was obviously old and in need of a major overhaul; there were stains on the hallway carpet and a pervasive, musty smell. Management had us switch rooms, which at 1 am w/two small children and no elevator was NOT very convenient. We then realized that the TV only got 4 channels and pay per view movies. Couldn't watch the news. Tried the internet and that was not working either. Management told us that the tech support person only worked 3 days a week (why do they have one on staff?!?) and that the signal was strong in the lobby.....People started taking showers and leaving around 5 am and we heard every single one. Showers turning off/ on, doors slamming, talking......We were only allotted 2 towels (there were 4 of us) and when we requested more we were told that housekeeping was behind and they would send more up when they became available!!! While we appreciated being moved to a room with working ac and the price of our room being discounted, all in all not a pleasant experience. We will not return.
