Econo Lodge Oklahoma City, Oklahoma City

My family and I recently stayed at this motel on our vacation to Oklahoma City. It seemed to be a decent value and had the size of room we needed for our large family. Well,the motel is not in a good area, especially as far as the attractions go. You will do a lot of driving if you want to go to any of the major attractions.When we got to the motel,first thing we noticed was the shabby exterior of the motel.Upon going to our room, the tile in the doorway was torn up,their was still hair in the bathtub and paper in the drain.We found beer caps on the floor as well as used q-tips.For their continental breakfast they offered 2 kinds of cereal, donuts, milk, coffee, and orange juice that tasted like orange flavored water. We asked about more items but were told when things were gone,they're gone. We soon found our sink leaked so we had to put our trash can under the pipes. The room was never completely cleaned every day that we were there. They never cleaned out the sink or the bathroom at all,just made the beds and took the trash and half the time they didn't take it all. The staff was friendly and nice,but this place needs a serious update. The pool was clean, but small, the concrete in need of paint and repair. The place smells of beer and cigarettes and it seems like there's always a party going on. I could go on,but I'll quit while I'm ahead.My advice, pay a little more,its worth it.
