Memphis Better Kept Secrets

OK, when you drive up to this hotel, its a little intimidating. The wrought iron fence and the "shady" area of town its set in was not exactly one of this places biggest attractons. However, for the money, the room was clean (all the amenities worked, remote TV, heat/air, lighting, bath facilities), parking lot was well lit, except for traffic noise- it was quiet. Keep in mind, it not the Peabody by any stretch of the imagination, but it was well worth what I paid. There is a Waffle House fairly close by (Not within walking distance), but does have a clean Love's Truck Stop across the road. Given the chance, I would stay there again.
