Super 8 Shreveport, Shreveport

Our room was some substandard excuse for a room with a hump in the floor that made the entire wall and floor shake when you stepped across it; the shower's drain left you quickly in standing water; the juice machine_during breakfast_is for decoration only; and the normal locking mechanism didn't work so the thumb bolt was necessary to even close the room. When we left the room we had to put our bags back in the car to leave as the door would open on its own without the security latch being engaged. The manager assured us he would have the door repaired when we checked in__he never showed his face again. We were charged $20 more to receive a downstairs room which we had no choice in since one of our party was handicapped. Would I stay here again? Not on a drunk, not on a dare, not on a bet!

Shower didn't work towels were dirty! Beds hard, location not great. Will never stay again. I'd rather pay More for a room with no problems!!!

The price was right. However, I found the location to be a little scary. (There was a really dumpy hotel right next door that seemed to have some unsavory characters hanging around.) One of the locks was off the door and in the windowsill (we reattached it ourself). It didnt seem very safe so we moved furniture in front of the door at night. The door itself looked like someone tryed to pry it open before. Overall the room was pretty clean with the exception of the carpets, which were dirty and when I opened the coffee pot a really foul odor came out. Everything else appeared to be clean. The beds were very uncomfortable (very hard) and the pillows were very flat. But the staff was pleasent and the price was right. However, I probably will not return.

The attendant was trying to check in too many people at the same time and he got our reservations mixed up. The bathroom did not have a shower curtain put up. I was put in the computer for one night, when I requested two. We had the housekeeper bust in on us while getting dress; to clean and we didn't suppose to check out yet. I had to call and fix that mess and we left to start our day and when we came back to the hotel; we could't get in (our room card didn't work anymore) and when I went to the office to see what was wrong; the attendant just scan it and that was that. We got a shower curtain put up on the second day of our stay. My family(3 including a child) was a guest at this hotel and we will not be staying her again when we visit Shreveport, LA. NO discounts or anything was given for their screw up.

I liked the location of the hotel. I used to stay at the hotel before and was not very good. It looks like they have a new management and it looks great now. they have renevated rooms and new ACs and they have frig,microwave,hair dryer,iron,free wireless internet in all rooms. They have free complimentary breakfast, pool. I liked it and the people there were very friendly. I will keep going there.
