Avoid This Place
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. When we arrived & checked in, I niticed what appeared to be broken auto glass in the parking lot, and wondered how that happened. We got to our room, and it smelled as if a pack of dogs had lived there for a month. After asking for a different room, we moved to a room that smelled fine. We had a very worn mattress however. On the last moring we were there, we awoke to find that our vehicle had been broken into - parked directly outside of our 1st floor room. Various items had been stolen, and an attempt was made to get the stereo. We reported the incident both to management and the police. NOTE: THERE ARE NO SECURITY CAMERAS EXCEPT IN THE HOTEL LOBBY HERE. The hotel, of course, excepts no responsibilty for incidents like this, even though they employ a security guard, saying that parking "is at your own risk" - though this information is not posted anywhere. The management said that this was the first incident of its kind that happened there. The police officer that responded to our call laughed when told this - he said it happens a LOT at this hotel and others in the general vicinity.
