I have stayed there a few times w/o a problem but the last time in 9/08 I left at 4:00am due to bed bugs. I reported them to the Health Dept. the second I got home.
For the price it was it was the price you get. Economical but it has everything that you really need. If you're a simple person then this would be right. Lack of radio clock was the only thing I noticed everything else was fine.
Not a bad place in itself if you juste stay there to sleep. The problem is that people who work there are thieves. I booked a room on the internet, leaving my credit card number. The day I arrived I chose to pay my room with cash. They didn't give me a receipt, I didn't pay attention to that (I'm European and people never forget to give you your receipt in Europe, so you never think about it). Two days later I discovered they had also taken money on my bank account. I paid that room twice, and it's impossible to get my money back since I have no receipt. So just go anywhere else, I'm sure there are plenty of nicer places around Boston, places where you won't be cheated.
The Braintree Motel 6 is usually occupied by the homeless, drug addicts (heroin), wanted felons and prostitutes on a daily basis. It is not a safe place to stay and unless you are looking for a room by the hour, do yourself a favor and stay far away. It might be cheap but I guarantee you that you really have no idea what is going on there. Filthy Filthy Place!
