A shining example of how a Hotel Should be.
Just visited over the Thanksgiving holiday and I must say this hotel not only met my expectations but surpassed them in many ways. Lately it seems that the hospitality industry, has been missing hospitality, but not at the Hilton Charlotte University Place. From the time I arrived, it took me less than 5 minutes to check in. The room was very clean, and the bed most comfortable. All of my requests at booking were met, which was a plus, especially on the most busiest travel weekend of the year. I asked for a higher level, and a room away from the elevator, and the request was right on the money. Had a great view from the large windows in the room. And the best part about it was the food and service from the resturant downstairs. We had breakfast both days, which at $10 for the buffet, was more than worth it. The fruits were fresh, and so were the baked goods, plus they had cooked to order eggs and belgian waffles. The location is nothing to complain about either, it is close to everywhere you want to be, without being there...lol. Will definately stay there again the next time I visit Charlotte.
