Super 8 Beachwood Cleveland Area, Beachwood

The room was smelly, dirty and just made the evening a total was of an evening out and money. This hotel ought to be ashamed for charging anything for their rooms. I would never stay here again or recommend this hotel to anyone.

my stay wasn't all that good i thought by it being in the burb's it;ll be a tad bit better than what it was.the young lady at the front desk was very cute and polite. by the way she had strep throat. yet and still she did her job.the rooms are nice. for 58.39 you can't bet that with a bat not in beachwood maybe in a bad neighborhood. so like i say you get what you pay for. it's not the embassy folks or a hotel it's a motel

The facilities were nasty. Worn out carpets dirty bathrooms. Stinky hallways and rooms. Our group felt like were at one establishments that has hourly rates. We had to go buy disinfectant and cleaning supplies at Walmart. One person called and the front desk told her to come and get a plunger. We were not allowed to take a shower until the next morning because they turned the water off to the shower. Our organization we never use their facility or any Wyndham hotel. I cannot believe the owner allow their facility to look like that on the same strip with other nice hotels. Next time we visit Cleveland we will pay the extra $30.00 to stay in a better hotel.

For a basic motel room this room was not worth the 92.99 we paid for 1 night's stay in the middle of the week. On the internet it advertised rooms from 28.00 and I called the front desk to see if they had ample parking for tractor trailers. They stated they had plenty of room out back for tractor trailers so I went directly to the hotel. I was shocked when the manager told me the room was 92.99. I stay at a lot of Super 8 Motels in my travels to various states as a tractor trailer driver and this was the most unreasonable price I have ever paid for a basic hotel room.

My sister and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in August 2005. Nice and close to the highway! Cheap rooms that are clean (and air-conditioned!). Outside access on the main floor was nice. Staff were polite and extremely helpful! My sister and I, along with a couple other guys we met, were quite loud at times but no one complained. Comfortable beds and a nice outdoor pool. Nothing to complain about - would definately stay at again.

Three years ago this Super8 was a great value; clean and comfortable. We checked in on May 31, 2005: The room carpet and chairs were dirty, stained and sticky, some of the lights did not work, the TV did not work, the room smelled like a basement locker-room. We immediately requested another room. The second room was cleaner and the TV and lights worked. But, when we turned down the beds, the bedspread on one bed had what appeared to be dried blood on it. The second bed had food crumbs in it. Clearly they had not changed the sheets after the previous guest had checked out. We immediately checked out and got a room at the Holiday Inn across the street. The Super8 did refund our money. On Monday, June 6th, I reported this hotel to the local Board of Health.
