The Horseback riding was AMAZING!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/14/08
The Flying M has great trail rides. I have been on guided rides around Oregon and it is by far the most beautiful at the ranch. The views are amazing, the river was gorgeous and the horses and staff are great. I can't wait to go on the overnight ride this summer!!

Beautiful Place!
By James, 1/6/06
Went to a great wedding and spent the night in the "Motel". The Motel was only of average quality, but was clean and comfortable. The food in the Lodge was quite decent and fairly priced. The wonderful part of the Flying M Ranch is the beauty of the area, and the possible outdoor adventures available. The Lounge is very unique and rustic, and had a heck of good country-western (what else!) band. We really had a good time and hope somebody can buy the property and update the amenities. No matter, still a great place for a summer weekend get-a-way.

The rustic country at its best
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/21/05
The only bad things that I can possibly think of is that the meal portions have been slightly cut down from five years ago. Secondly, the maintaince needs some attention.

Ex Employee
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/22/05
I worked there. The place was underkept. The help skips out wherever possible. It has cabins for those that wish for a rustic experience. Infact, Part of my training was showing me what was acceptable to skip on. The employees are overworked and underpaid, The waitresses are overstressed and impacient with customers. The food quality is minimal, AND, on NUMEROUS occasions there have been wildlife and cockroaches found in the food. This place is not reccommended. It is however for sale, So it is with great hopes that someone will buy it and whip it into shape. Thank you for your time.

Experience at the Ranch
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/29/05
My family and friends have always held our functions at the ranch because the Mitchells have always been wonderful to my family and friends. The janitorial and maintenance quality of service in the cabins have gone down. Understandable if different people are doing it. I mentioned to them the weekend that we were there and a dirty look is what I got in response. In 25 yrs that we have gone there that has been one bad experience only, not bad at all. I will highly recommend it to everyone any time.

We can't wait to go back!)
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/17/05
A wonderful one of a kind place that not a lot of people know of. If you ever go there you will want to go back soon, wonderful for children, hiking, horse riding, fishing, airplanes flying in, great western feel! See the photos of the movie that was filmed there. I give it 5 stars, for some reason the computer is only letting me give it 4????
