DON'T LET THE HIGH RATING FOOL YOU..

I selected this hotel specifically because of the star rating and was willing to pay for the comfort that the Holiday Inn is known for. I was disappointed at check in, two clerks at the desk trying to figure out the new computer system while taking care of another customer. I waited patiently while casual conversation took place and the clerks made time to get back to figuring out the computer to check the customer in. I was not acknowledged, until the customer received his key and departed. Signs were posted to please be patient-that I was, it was late and I just wanted to get in my reserved room. I don't know how old this hotel is but it has patches all over and quite noticeable, the cosmetic facelift is in need of a repair. The carpet was undesirable in cleanliness. The beds were sunken and pillows were flat. The bathroom being one of the worst, everything cramped,lacking sanitation and noisy plumbing. From the ceiling to the floor was noticeable repairs. Stayed one night with my family and couldn't wait to check out..I definitely will not stay at this HI Express in the future.
