La Quinta Inn Hattiesburg, Hattiesburg

The room had a horrible smell to it, like someone had smoked and then tried to cover it up. Bathrooms were small. Our daughter slept on the pull-out couch which was lopsided (luckily she's still really small). For the price, we'll probably go elsewhere next time.

Booked 3 rooms. Rooms were filthy! When refg. was sent to our room finally, it had dead bugs in it. AC filters were full of dirt, so dirty I photo'ed the dirt! AC unit would not cool. Past occupants hair all over bath room floors. Corners in bathroom are full of "gunk". Tub was nasty, dirty and stained. Wallpaper peeling from multiple areas. No lid on toilet tank. Where peep hole should of been toilet paper was stuck in hole. No coffee maker! No data ports! No resturant or bar on site! Beds were nasty!!! If we could of found other rooms within the area we would of checked out!!!!!! We will not go into the other two rooms. The hallway stairs carpet has holes in it which can trip a person. Called owner, he really did not care!!! Told me how wrong I was. Sleep in your car, you will have a cleaner enviroment and nicer managment!

The outside looks very nice. The inside looks very old and run down. Room with King size bed VERY small. No microwave. I requested a 1st floor room when I made my reservations. I had to settle for a room on the 2nd floor. That usually would not have been a problem except I have 2 small kids and they do not have an elevator. Room service took over an hour. But the food is good and fair priced. I just do not feel like I got the room or service for the price I paid.
